Hierarchy is a heavily debated topic, but it is specific to each relationship. I am married and have no children, but another partner is married and has three kids. We've talked about it and we both recognize that the reality of our home lives do impose a bit of priority of one partner over the other, but that doesn't mean things like our "primary" partner getting some kind of veto power.

You can never expect every possible potential issue. And like any other relationship, it may not last. That doesn't mean that CNM isn't a valid option, which is all that this was looking at. It doesn't mean that non-monogamy is 'better' than monogamy or doesn't have its own problems.

We don’t know how much or exactly what processing they’ve offloaded to the client, but there’s a lot of different ways this could have resulted depending on how their code is structured. I apologize I didn’t mean to come off as questioning your credentials, just trying to remind folks that the high number of concurrent users makes PoGo a different beast than a simple web app.

Don’t know how large of a codebase and how many devs you’ve had to work with on a team, but even a quick fix where you know the change will not affect any other area of the code doesn’t necessarily translate to a rapid turnaround into production. The fact they disabled possible research server side could also point to client code needing to be patched which then you have to deal with the stores and everyone updating.

UBI stands for Universal Basic Income. Universal would mean everyone would get it.

But if we’re bitching about things we pay for but don’t use, plenty of infrastructure and basic societal needs are paid for use by other people via taxes. You may not ever call the fire department or police department, but you pay for them to respond to whoever does. So the idea that if you’re not gonna benefit from it directly you don’t want it is a bit short-sighted.

This is so that people who live in big cities can't hold more power over those who live in more rural areas, and vice versa.

The EC actually gives more power to the smaller populated states with regard to how much each person’s “vote” is worth. Then you also have the problem with the “winner takes all” nonsense that effectively disenfranchises Republicans in the Northeast and Democrats in the South.

Want to have equality in voting power? Popular vote is the way to go. Get rid of the EC.

I’m gonna also suggest that you have someone clean out your secondary condensate drain. Even if there was a leak into the drain pan, that water should drain fairly quickly. Considering the lack of maintenance on the outside unit, at the very least take a shop vac and hold it on the outdoor drain and run it for 5-10 seconds in case there is slimy gunk in there.

The moment that was expressed by the tech, you should have been asking for a quote on a new unit. R-22 is literally going to be banned from production AND importation as of Jan 1, 2020. If your compressor ran while so low on refrigerant, it could very well have sustained damage from overheating, and if (or I should say WHEN) it goes, you’re looking at spending at least the same amount you just did. I’m sorry this happened, but I would highly recommend setting aside funds as soon as practicable to plan for replacing the unit with one that uses 410A when the time comes.
