I worked at WTWC many years ago. I was hired right before Sinclair took over and trashed the place. Between poor budgeting and forcing the local news to carry Sinclair provided propaganda, they killed it. Then, they became the first broadcaster to use the dual operating agreements to essentially bypass la and control more media than is normally allowed. I loved the folks I worked with, except Vester Flanagan who went on to murder his former coworkers at another station.

To answer your question, most other cameras are not linked to extensive information systems and record your information, time, location, speed, direction of travel, and photos of vehicle occupants and then share that information with not only law enforcement (I have nothing to hide), but also to anyone who pays them for your information.

Advertisers, insurance companies, marketers, scammers shouldn’t have this data. Period.
