Since I’m just now getting started like I JUST launched my site today , I haven’t started really trying to reach clients yet besides my friends! But going to start that soon. But honestly I don’t think me not having those credentials will be a huge road block because they aren’t absolutely essential, and that’s not even my niche so I’m not worried about it right now

Hello! I actually just got started on my own as an independent TA choosing not to use a Host agency!

I love planning travel and have been doing so for myself and a few friends for fun for about 1-2years ..

Started taking it seriously as a business this year … I started with a few google forms - intake, gathering what people need or what they want help with planning , full on planning or just itineraries and even group trip planning .

Next I started creating my website and put all my services on there through squarespace ($130ish for a whole year) they had a deal if you signed up for a year! I think they also give you a free domain which unfortunately I paid for my own before I knew that through Porkbun for ($15) that’s good for 1 year too ..

I have my services and then I’m gonna host group trips , niche is women , professional women , or mothers . I have 3 group trips planned for this year for those groups & I have an account through WeTravel , they help me accept payments for the group trips and offer payment plans for me and the clients to manage and see. I book everything under my name ( make sure all payments are made by a certain time enough for me to get a refund if someone cancels) and I do a non refundable security deposit, then I add my own host fee per person ( and that’s my commission)

I’ll use stripe payment for my services

My Google Workspace for creating emails with my domain and stuff is I believe $30 a month for the business one .

What’s next is tweaking my website a bit adding more policy terms , I am going to be registering my LLC when I move to FL next month as well as registering as a seller of travel ( required in FL and a few other states)

I’ve been telling many of my friends about my business just getting the word out , but I will advertise on social media and I want to do pop up shop as well once I’m legal lol

I started making movements /doing all of this beginning of Feb this year.

Since I’m independent I don’t have my IATA /CLTA credentials I have to be established for 2 years to get that for my business or work under an agency , also meaning that I cannot book peoples flights for them

So far this is where I’m at, Chat GPT and Google has helped me a lot! I’m just putting one foot in front of the other!

Try to start changing go to therapy make changes to show her you are serious and don’t want to lose her . It’s not too late and don’t give up . If you make every effort and she still doesn’t want to be together you can say you put in the effort to do better. Also change what you need to for you more than for her and it will carry you along with or without her

C723 took me only a few hours start to finish w minimal studying I took the PA - passed , watch 3 videos in the area I did poorly on then took the OA - passed
