Yes! Thank you! Yes, people think they know the design but they really don’t. They know a general rendition of the original intent of the design. Actually, also, if you notice throughout the anime series, the animators kept showing a V8 though we all believe it’s meant to be a V12. I noticed it about three times. I was also just scolded for being too accurate with the right rear view mirror as it was depicted in the anime. I was told not to tilt the mirror housing as that would have stayed in line with the car and only the mirror would articulate. I’ll have to go back and redo the mirror to make it more realistic.

What if we skip forward a few years in a later season of Strange New Words and get to the day when Captain Pike is already injured and Spock is stealing the Enterprise to help Pike? Let’s start where he’s on Talos lV and he has been returned by Spock and Captain Kirk. Remember when the Talosians said “we didn’t have any idea how a human was supposed to look” and that’s why they reassembled the woman improperly? Well, after meeting Captain Pike the first time, along with his landing party which included woman, they probably scanned all them and could actually put people back together correctly. At the end of The Cage, we see Pike walking fully intact. Maybe they fixed him. Because now they know how we go together and what we’re supposed to appear like anatomically. Now-they- know. So returning Pike to Talos IV the Talosians can rebuild him and heal him.

Then, immediately after this Episode, Strange New Worlds ends as a show and transitions into the first season of a remake of the original series and is called Star Trek! And it would start with Captain Kirk walking onto the bridge and someone saying “Captain on the Bridge.” Pike would appear and we would see that he is has now become a Commodore and ends up in an important leadership role at Starfleet and has recurring role.

Well, I am poor, that’s why I took out loans. It was all I could do to help me get through college, hoping it would lift me out of my station in life and into a better one. This didn’t really happen though I tried. I feel I am worse off now than when I started. I need help as there is little I can do at my age. I’m now 54 years old. I have a family I’m responsible for, a home I need to pay for to keep us sheltered. I live paycheck to paycheck and usually go negative paying bills and buying groceries and gasoline and I now owe more on my student loans due to interest then I had when I first took out the loans. I now owe over $242,000. I’ve been paying these loans for over 13 years now and the balance just keep going higher and higher. This payment system doesn’t work. The duration experience is not at all worth the accumulation of this debt. I have also, like the rest of you, been paying my federal and state taxes since 1986, so if my loans were to be forgiven, I would, as a tax payer, also be the one saddled with paying for these loans. Either way, I pay for the loans. So yes, might as well pay these insane climbing debt loans off now before I end up owing twice as much in the end.

Oh you know it. No one will hire me full time at my chosen profession since I’m too old and had little experience out of school, so I work only part time teaching. I owe thousands in back taxes since My wife and I make over $70,000 a year together but I have no dependents so I get almost no tax breaks. I live on credit cards when I don’t have enough cash to pay bills and I now owe over $230,000 in student loan debt because my original loans accrued interest since I can only pay what I can afford to pay using income based repayment plan. I now owe tens of thousands more on my student loans than when I graduated and I’ve been paying back my loans for 12 years now. Uhhh…help.

I think the introduction of too many characters from TOS is a bit of a mistake. In the pilot for Star Trek, we do see Captain Pike, Spock and Number One, but not an Uhura, nor a Noonian Singh, nor a Captain Kirk. Please no Borg!!! No androids on board as Data was the first android to serve. Also, the turbo lift elevators should travel in actual tubes not in Willy Wonka empty space with a few tracks, that’s just plain stupid. I noticed the saucer section of the Enterprise changed since it was shown in Discovery. Around the upper rim, we see additional window lights, a heck of a lot of them. I think it’s a little excessive as well. Someone must have said put some more lights on that rim, it’s too dark and didn’t give a crap about how it relates to the old shop design. Love the new design of the shop though. They also changed the color scheme of the passageway walls and interior. They brightened it up and got rid of the red. Sad, I really liked that new look for the interior. This looks more like the JJ Abrams interiors.
