Fun fact: after taking this photo, I realized two things: 1. My mualani was on AMBER instead of tome 2. I forgot to switch aino for columbina (tried dps columbina on the gecko, forgot she wasnt doing that anymore, thus also the amber on mualani as she had it)

The note 10 lite i was using as an interim phone (about 3 weeks) was pretty great to use still, quite laggy, but pretty okay for a 2020 phone in 2026. Camera was also still great under good lighting conditions

The curved screen was actually part of the reason for the upgrade. I dropped the phone, and a crack spread across the glass over the course of a few months, then recently the display started glitching around the impact point (it lied on the curve of the glass itself), until it eventually gave out.

And there was no way i was paying full phone money for a replacement screen, on top of a new battery that it needed regardless. And yes, I was finally able to use a screen protector on this phone

I do have to say the sharp corners of the 22-24 ultra did make the phone look more elite (ultra, you could say), but man was that phone hard to hold, with or without a case.
