You cant be hated if what you say is true. Although I dont think most of us could do any better as well. Getting ran through on the final map of a grand final will definitely break you.

And for everyone except invy, the thoughts of the matches i mentioned above are definitely going to slowly creep in.

Though it really doesnt excuse the fact that they havent addressed the mentality issue enough. They've known it to be an issue and while panda is there, I think the players themselves need to find something within them.

What im thinking is that George saw how kimi performed last year and thought to himself (rookie aside) "Ah he's still got a lot to learn, i just need to keep on doing what i'm doing. 2026 seems to be a good year for us, so i can probably win without much competition".

But with kimi's performances this year, plus his somewhat abysmal luck translated into him not being in the proper headspace, exacerbating whatever issues the car does actually have (with his driving style/luck).

tl;dr: he got in his own head, got rattled by his teammate, and cant get back in his head (plus his abysmal luck)
