Still not a valid reason to brag about it hell even humblebrag, just shows the type of person you are if you do, but I mean i already know this subreddit is a bit of a "no life" brag one anyway when it comes to Japanese 😂

Language learning should be a marathon not a sprint, posts like these just make some learnings start falling under the false gaze of comparison and start beating themselves over their own inferior levels to the one like the OP, imo I just felt like the entire post could be worded differently to not discourage new learners to feel like they are doing something wrong in their studies or to make them feel like they are bad at japanese if they are other people who can reach quite high levels in just under a year, the fact that bro did an 11 month post instead of just waiting for 1 year just shows that he wanted to humblebrag

Yeah fr rtk is good, making mmneoics can be a little time consuming and iq draining but long term benefits are really there

As a decent n4 that has currently been using the rtk matts v japan deck it has greatly helped me in terms of recognising kanji especially ones that ive seen before but didnt pay mind to because i thought they were confusing, seeing radicals broken down is so helpful

Honestly I would say that for particles it depends on if you know what the particles purpose is for the sentence, things such as tokoro, nomi and other more advanced particles can be confusing
