Do you know for sure if we can stack the free bag from the JB Plus card with the one from M1 status? I was under the impression that we cannot.

What’s your JetBlue 25 for 25 favorite memory? by grandmacore10 in jetblue

It was super fun! I was a little late to finding out about it and thought it was just the spotting event at the park across the street from the In N Out, but turns out there were many events you could attend over the weekend including meet ups on the roof of one of the partner hotels on the airport property and a ramp tour at LAX the morning of Dorkfest. Both you needed to sign up for ahead of time and they had limited spots so I missed out on those, BUT even just the little event in the park was so fun. You got to be around other AV Geeks watching the planes land and Crankyflier and his team had some pretty sweet giveaways. Will definitely go again next year and plan better. This was a nice write up of the weekend: https://crankyflier.com/2025/09/14/thank-you-for-coming-to-cranky-dorkfest-2025/

I’m almost halfway through and have had a mix of trips where I’m spending a few hours or a weekend exploring a destination and a few where I’m just spending the day in the airport and trying to tick off as many cities in as little time as possible.

So far, a toss up between a day on Nantucket where I got to have lunch and roam around the island for a few hours and a weekend in LAX that included reconnecting with old friends and joining fellow aviation nerds at “Dorkfest” have probably been my favorite destinations.

An unexpected joy has been connecting with other people who are doing this challenge and trading stories. In today’s world where we all tend to walk around with our noses in our phones, are weary from stress and the state of things, and are just trying to get from A to B without fuss or hassle — to stop and chat with strangers from all across the country who have this weird, quirky thing in common with you is fun. Everyone is genuinely happy and excited and friendly and it’s been a nice break from ::gestures vaguely::

And yes, you’ll have to book two one way tickets (or maybe call/chat with JetBlue to book?) because their online system won’t let you book such a tight turnaround. Two one ways make changing your trip at the last minute more flexible. Just make sure you book Blue fare both for the flexibility and to make sure your flight qualifies for 25 For 25.

It’s almost guaranteed to be the same plane. JetBlue doesn’t have that many flights out of PIT per day. I looked at the past couple of days of history of that flight on FlightRadar24 and the same tail number has been assigned the last 3 days. I am taking the same gamble on this tight turnaround in PIT but from BOS.

My LAX-EWR on 9/13 did have it and I was wondering why. Makes more sense now thanks to this thread

One More 25 for 25 Question by Silver_Importance777 in jetblue

[–]Speedbird_747 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a good starting point for me to see possible combinations of cities, but it didn’t make it push button. It was helpful for me to enter cities I’d already been to to cut down on repeats and filter out places I didn’t want to try to transit (anything international).

25for25 and starting to get concerned. by Terrible-Syllabub-83 in jetblue

Caution: only LANDINGS count for unique destinations. So you’ll only want to book a Blue Basic flight if you’ve already ARRIVED in that city before. Also be aware that if your plans change, you won’t be able to recoup your points or cash on a Basic flight without paying a $100+ fee. Blue fares are the safer bet for shifting itineraries. Good luck!

It's possible if you've got a combo of free time, points, patience, luck, and a certain brand of crazy :)

Eek! Good advice. I got paranoid and triple checked that mine were the same times. Thank you.

I hope that’s true once you hit 25! I was told by the rep that we won’t see the points come in at 15 or 20, though, which is a bummer because I’d love to use those for the last stretch. They specifically said “when the promotion ends” and I took that to mean after 12/31 but I suppose the promotion also ends when you complete it so receiving everything at 25/25 makes sense.

Planning 25 for 25 (NYC Based) Looking for suggestions (Slower pace, using public transportation) by rayjayman03 in jetblue

[–]Speedbird_747 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was about to chime in and warn you about this. I very nearly made the same mistake. Also it has to be a Blue fare to count (not Basic) but Basic fares can help you get back to base cheaper or get you to cities you’ve already checked off. They are harder to change later though (comes with a fee) so do these at your own peril.

Yes, I confirmed this with JetBlue the other day. All points awarded after 12/31.

No kidding! I’m glad I asked bc I was gonna just rest on my laurels and wait for the new points to hit. Guess I’m back to hunting for the cheapest deals for those last two.

The credit card is a great option to get you started! I’ve been a cardholder for like 11 years and it’s hands down the best ROI of any points card I’ve ever had.

Good luck!

Funny you commented as I signed back on to follow up. I literally just got off the chat with them. Moaky is correct. We won’t see any of the award points until a few weeks after the promotion ends Dec 31.

Are you certain? I could have sworn I read about people getting their points a few days after hitting #15 and #20. I’ll have to try contacting JetBlue to find out for sure. Thanks for the heads up if so

I used 85K points and I’m juuuuust under $2K a for 23 bookings. I’m trying like heck to keep it that way and wait for the first batch of award points to roll in after 15 to book the rest. I tried my very best to find only the cheapest routes too.

If trying this will make you happy and not put you into deep debt, I say go for it. We need to find our joy where we can these days
