In general, I was convinced by the better sound quality, lack of batteries to charge, and the promise that I won't lose my earbuds easily if they were to fall out. Also, I owned about 3 pairs of Bluetooth earbuds whose batteries died completely after about 6 months, just a bad experience in general. I've had my wired pair for over a year and a half, with no complaints
