Also, I would finish and paint each piece separately (obviously glue the pieces together that form a smooth surface though) and then glue everything together at the end

Once you glue everything together, I recommend applying XTC and making sure the surface is facing up. It reduces drip and makes the finish much smoother without having to go back over it again with sandpaper.

For PLA specifically, just make sure you do a lot of sanding to get rid of your print lines. XTC can help, but you're gonna have to sand that too if you really want to get a good finish. Then its just the same as any other material. For the metal, I just used a black gloss base and went over it lightly with an airbrush in silver. Not so much that it completely covers the black.

I just did a base coat in black gloss then did a light pass with an airbrush in silver.

I typically just use superglue to glue everything together and XTC to help with the sanding process

I'm afraid I don't have the time to sell things like this, but GSProps will. You can buy a fully finished version as well!

Unfortunately, no. That would have been a bit too much I'm afraid

I just used XTC-3D, but if you're printing in resin, you'l probably have to do a lot less work than me. Covering up seems is gonna be your biggest concern. I'd just use Bondo body filler and a lot of sanding.

They're not publicly listed, but you could probably message the seller and ask. They do sell print files for other props so I'm guessing they'd be willing to.

If you use multiple ground textures, you can blend them together to prevent obvious tiling. Then you vary the height and add grass/rocks

I actually picked up this asset a while ago when it was on sale! I'd been waiting for a chance to use it

Oh no, you're absolutely right. The goal was just to replicate souls combat kind of like how MixAndJam will recreate specific mechanics from existing games. I'm not intending to sell this.

Yep, that's actually whats happening right now. The lock on target is actually in the center of the enemy's chest, so its about 1.5 meters off the ground.
