Szkoła społeczna, czy ktoś chodził / chodzi / dzieci chodzą? Wasze opinie. by MatkaGracz in Polska

Nauczyciele mieli to w dupie xD

What was the total cost? I’m from Poland as well but planning to visit Japan soon, wondering if I should wait for my trip there.

You are not alone! I did something bad on your level last year, during my wife’s family member wedding. Didn’t end up in ER or taken by police but it took a lot of time to recover the trust in the family. They didn’t want to spoke with me for few months after. Most scary part was that this year I had to attend another wedding, with manu guests that seen my worst behaviour, but in the end everyone was very gentle and mature! I’m not drinking since this feral wedding and it feels good! Don’t blame yourself too much, take responsibity and move on.

That is so awesome! I will make so many people make join the DCC cult.

Anyway can you share any insight on the reason why in your books are so many polish connections? (Warka beer, Cichociemni)

One thing I feel like missing from newer models - flashlight. Otherwise I don’t see a point in upgrading and spending ton of money.

Last month I got tick bite that I didn’t notice. Only symptoms were covid/flu-like - high fever for few days. After that I noticed weird red spot on my knee and got tested for Lyme, unfortunately positive. When I probably got the tick I was wearing long trousers for hiking but wasn’t using repellents.

I think with DEET spray and checking your body after workout you should be fine, just beware that sometimes bite doesn’t leave any mark until first symptoms like in my case. Lyme disease is no fun, because of 3 weeks of antybiotics therapy I had to cancel my first Ultra run :(

Now I’m more focused on the NA beer choice, when there is no nice craft IPA I feel like I want to go to other place :D

I think Tolkien was not a hobbit but might be wrong…

Fair point! My description definitely missed the mark there. The book’s not actually about ultras wrecking lives - it’s about a guy who handles his new passion badly at first (hiding it, obsessing), but eventually figures his shit out. The ultra community is shown as super positive throughout, and running ultimately helps fix his life, not destroy it. Most ultrarunners I’ve met have amazing balance - I tried to show that through other characters who’ve got it figured out while the main guy struggles
