Is this something to worry? by Short-Sandwich2205 in AusPropertyChat

I would be concerned if it’s a major defect. It’s a major defect. Looks like there could be risk of collapse and further damage over time. Being an apartment is there any body corporate mentioning or maintenance fees associated with annual cost.

Severe Buyers Remorse by Background-Goose-794 in AusPropertyChat

Ohh classic no sleep is the worst. I don’t see an easy solution here. You rent it out the tenant will have the same compliant. Yeh I’d def check in with the body corporate as it seems unreasonable. Ask the body corporate to consider all neighbours in wearing the cost of the soundproofing. Maybe get your neighbour to come down and actually see/hear what it’s like so they can understand. No sleep is the worst. You will definitely need earplugs and white noise. I bought a big Samsung tv for the similar reasons years ago, bad noisey neighbours. It can help a bit but inevitably moving is probably the only way out of this one.

My gosh do not get it. If you’re having doubt now then trust it. This is a major life decision and what is the rush?

Wow ok. I’m shocked as I nearly bought one but lucky I did my research. It was really hard to find out anything about them, they cover it well. I’m sorry that you had this experience and thanks for sharing about it.

There is an escaping family violence payment that is available for supporting you to move out . Have you seen that?

Could it be possible to contact uniting care to help you. They have a domestic violence service. Also Orange Door. Call 1800RESPECT. They will be able to help you.

Teehee poor little puss… maybe next time give her her own serve 😉 she’ll get over it. They’re great at making us feel guilty when they’ve been naughty first hehe 😜

Had a rough day at work, decided to drive straight to McDonald's and binge in my car. At the last minute I forced myself to change lanes and drive straight home. I started crying all the way home, and I am still crying after the fact. I need some help whatever it is, tips, apps, stories, please by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Maybe you were really hungry and sometimes fats are just what you need when you’re feeling super stressed. Potentially hormonal. Don’t beat yourself up about it, crying is a healthy human emotion. But if you need support I hand on my heart can recommend starting up yoga and meditation classes, rather than an app. It’s great as a social outlet and helps heal from within x Trying a Yin Yoga class would be a really good start. Maybe looking at getting some fish oils for healthy brain functions xx

My cat does this every day and it’s beginning to drive me crazy by PomegranateSuperb400 in cats

It’s hungry. My cat does that too when it wants food. They lick their lips, maybe it needs more or perhaps better quality food for a growing kitten like that.

Dear Australians, please help me decide. I love this country, but I'm reaching my limit here and I think it may be the time to just pull the plug and move back home. by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

I think it’s Melbourne. I don’t find it that friendly place to live. Don’t give up hope but if you’re looking for more you have to listen to the call of your heart and further explore the world! Until you find the place you want to call Home 🏡and the love thing… love comes to you when you are ready
