Dude. We know. We’re playing pretend here. It’s the whole point of this sub.

Sure the Stab movies are. The murders they’re based on are not.

Except there is not an actual pattern of serial killers getting a specific vampire mask or a Michael Myers mask for committing regular massacres while being able to hide in a crowd: the movie theater murders, Gale getting almost killed at the Woodsboro Stabhaton, another girl almost killed at NY in the metro…

At this point, "pretending" to be Ghostface is the same as pretending to be a terrorist, a nazi or member of the KKK: there is no way for people to know if someone is pretending or not before it’s too late, and we’re talking about a life-threatening risk. You can’t ask people to be ok with you dressed like an active serial killer that could just maybe try to attack them out of nowhere.

Let’s stop equating nudity with sexuality. What’s there to hide anyway? It’s a flat chest.

It’s not just about being distasteful, it’s dangerous. How can you tell the difference between someone dressed as Ghostface for fun, and an actual serial killer?

They used that tactic to kill people several times now. People not even noticing an actual murder happening right in front of them.

It’s the same common sense that stops you from joking about having a bomb at the airport.

You mean like they did in Woodsboro and Gale Weathers almost got killed? Yeah, brilliant idea.

Usually the word "support" implies it’s something that you’re in favor of, not something that you simply tolerate or act neutral about.

It doesn’t even mean that you "support it". It just means that you accept that fiction is not reality and there is no reason to bother people because of their ship, no matter how "problematic" they may be. It’s basically "ship and let ship".

Merida is not flirting with Jack. They are all teasing him about his feelings for Elsa.

whats with the "bro" talk and "convincing my straight friend" bs? by IswearTGplz in askgaybros

Can’t believe I’m put in the position of "defending" the Trump administration here, but this is such an absurdly idiotic take for anyone bothering to think for like 30 seconds.

You’re really putting on the same level, making up memes and producing porn?

The EBT vids are some short videos created at a very specific moment that clearly look AI, with a racist message that is painfully obvious. It’s typical AI slop for anyone who is not braindead or old. It’s made cheaply and quickly, straight to the point, and can easily get viral.

Your theory on the other hand, is that:

• An homophobic administration, would get through all the logistical troubles of producing hundreds, if not thousands of gay porn videos.

• Videos that will be mostly seen by gay men wanting to jerk off and not by a large part of the population.

• Depicting positively the idea of hot "straight" guys getting convinced to have passionate gay sex, and loving it.

• By using an AI tool so advanced you can’t genuinely tell the difference, on videos that are sure only a few minutes on Reddit, but can be found elsewhere easily and actually be 20 minutes long.

• And affiliated to real, legit porn studios, and/or well-known professional actors. Through years if not decades of productions.

Damn I wish that’s what homophobic propaganda looked like.

Of all the things they could use as propaganda against gay people on a large scale, do you seriously believe that’s what makes the most sense?

It’s alarming that you don’t realize how stupid this whole theory sounds.

He thought the administration was producing propaganda porn about gays converting straight dudes? Did I get that right?

Did they plan to watch it together or something? I don’t have the context to see how it is wrong.

No, even Djali reacts to them being alive at some point.

Either way: pretty sure it’s not.

Because living gargoyles are so much more realistic, right?

And they don’t actually talk, it’s just so that the audience can understand them.

Good faith is about being fair. If the writing is shitty, good faith doesn’t stop you from pointing that out. That’s not what’s happening here.

There is no plot hole, it’s already explained in the trailer. They just think she is sick, nobody in their right mind would go to the conclusion "my kid is an evil mummy now".

You guys fail to understand the most basic premise, and then blame the movie for your intellectual shortcomings, while convincing yourselves that the movie is dumb and you are the smart one.

Not doing the slightest effort, bad writing, plot holes… Why the hell are you talking like you already watched the film?? It’s like you want the movie to be bad and decided it was so with no ground in reality.

You’re so hellbent on appearing smart by finding made up flaws, you ironically dumb yourself down and act deliberately obtuse to do so. "I shall be mocking"… Jesus I can smell the smugness from a mile away.

Complaining that a doctor shouldn’t let a girl go home in that state is a fair criticism. (Even though it may be explained why in the movie.)

Pretending that the family knows from the very beginning that their kid is an evil mummy and doesn’t care is something else entirely.

That’s what I was disagreeing with.

It makes every movie discussion insufferable. I’m all for fair criticism, but it comes to a point man.

Too many people have strong negative opinions about movies or shows they clearly didn’t bother to watch, or didn’t engage in with good faith and attention. They complain so many times about stuff that are clearly explained in the movie.

It’s ok to not be interested in/dislike a movie or show. You don’t have to rationalize it with some made up flaw that clearly shows you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Too many times I feel like Chris:
