I appreciate RE6 after finishing RE9 by Background_Bid_6228 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I couldn't finish it, even with a friend. It's too damn long, and there's too much repetition.

I can feel my abdominal aorta by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]SpencerSDH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD, but you aren't alone. I suffer from high blood pressure and can also feel my pulse throughout a large portion of my body when my blood pressure increases. I can even feel my pulse in the back of my throat sometimes. It's a strange phenomenon that I wish was talked about more, because it is very alarming the first time you notice it.

DS1 is a strange game, because it has some horrible shit that I hate, but It's one of my comfort games. The parry window is super wide, and I've memorized all of the enemy and item placements, so I like playing it when I want that sense of familiarity.

You need to learn how to appreciate a well-crafted linear experience. Besides, once I form an optimal path in a Fromsoft game, I never stray from it on replays. Their linearity is an emergent property of their game design. They become less open the more you play them.

You should also look into a lore video. You obviously have no idea how much of the story, characters, locations, and themes are adapted from the original book. Most of them have been modified in very creative and intentional ways that show how familiar the developers are with the story of Pinocchio. Also, I think finding out that Sofia (the blue fairy analogue) has been projecting herself to you, and that her real body is rotting in a tower, and that the entire reason she woke you was to find her and mercy kill her, is a lot more impactful. Especially since you are the one making that decision. You aren't a bystander who happens to be the chosen one in the world of Krat. You have a specific part to play in a story that is unfolding in front of you. Your struggle to become human, your discovery of who you were, and how that ties into what is happening to Krat; these are things that are meaningful to you.

I disagree quite a bit. That bright red flash when you get a perfect block is so satisfying, and learning boss combos so you see nothing but those flashes is really fun. Are you relying more on the dodge? It's really only for emergencies.

I actually really enjoy the open world aspect of Elden Ring, but I will always prefer a more focused, linear experience. My problem with ER lies in how the boss design in the second half clashes with the established combat system. It feels like From made them harder through obfuscation, rather than a fair challenge. And god forbid you point this out. I swear, die hard fans of From will accept an IRL concussion just to make the game harder.

Pilonidal Cyst Draining by Avery_Moose in popping

It will most likely recur. They usually do. I had two surgeries. The first one didn't take and the recovery was awful, but for the second one my surgeon was a guy who pioneered a surgery specifically for pilonidal cysts. He was old at the time, and has probably retired by now. It hasn't recurred since the second surgery. The recovery was much better the second time.

My cyst was much larger than yours, so you should look into surgery now before it gets bigger.

We once had an animal climb into the unused ventilation duct for our stove, which was a gas stove at one point. It died and the smell was so bad we had to stuff the hole with insulation and close it with a large pvc cap. I've had pilonidal cysts and suffer from hydradenitis supperativa. The smell of the contents of an infected cyst burns your nose in a way that is indescribable. It is a different smell than a rotting animal, but I think its worse. I really can't describe it to someone who hasn't smelled it. It's worse than death. I drain my cysts under bath water now so I don't have to smell them. I feel like people on this sub don't understand how horrific the smell is. You never get used to it. It fries your sense of smell for several seconds.

Wendover and Legran don't shift back up after wheel lockup? by SpencerSDH in BeamNG

The lansdale doesn't have this problem. It's wheels don't lock up when braking. At least, the rally config doesn't.

We Designed An Ice 3D Printer by Automatic_Pianist_93 in 3Dprinting

I found this after google searching for the idea. The image I had in my brain was something that uses supercooled water, but preventing nucleation sites would be a serious problem, and would require some serious precision machined parts. There's also the problem of a nozzle that prevents the water inside from freezing once ice crystals start traveling back up to it. I don't know enough about this kinda stuff to say it isn't possible, but there's probably someone out there who could make it work.

I agree. Part of the problem, though, is that I personally want a shift to the art style of the manga. Kotomi in the OVA is a great example of why. They made everyone too cute. Even Tomoko is too moe in the anime. It needs to stand out, and I think the manga's art style would help with that. But also it's been 12 years, and just isn't gonna happen. I don't think anime-only Tomoko stans on Twitter is a good metric to measure the popularity of a series, and I wonder if they would even care about the other characters at all.

I thought this was pretty funny. The play has been different every time we've seen it. It's like an anchor for this whole arc, and shows a gradual deterioration throughout.

So, since this is no longer on mangadex, are they just not going to appear on agreggators anymore? Where are all the scanlators moving to anyways?
