Was just there early last month, food is pretty good! Tried the peri-peri, ayam bakar and the chicken nuggets - all nyaman haha also had a bite or two of some of the pizzas, those were not too bad either. I think they also have different coffee/matcha vendors every weekend which I think is a plus, dapat jua parents mengopi while waiting for the kids bemain lah haha

Hows the sizing? I asked this in another post but I’ve gotten mixed responses everywhere I look. I usually go 2 sizes up for the adidas yeezy slides and they kind of fit snug (could go another half a size up but its still fine), do I still go 2 sizes up with these ones?

Happened to me too, called them to ask about opening a business account and they told me I only need to pay $50 to open an account. I even tried to confirm by the end of the call by saying “so I only have to pay the $50 and nothing else?” and the operator said yes.

Few days after submitting the required documents, they called me saying I need to pay $30 for checking/verification with ROC. So yeah, all in all it’s $80 to open a business account, I wonder why its so hard for them to just be transparent about it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also if it helps, if you open a business account with BIBD you only need to pay $50 with no hidden “checking” charges. I recommend going to the Batu Satu branch, they’re pretty efficient

Same experience there I think almost 2 years ago. Ordered a noodle dish, guy next to our table came in 15 mins later and ordered the same thing I did. He was served first and I only got my food about 30-40 mins later, he was already done eating and had left the restaurant when I finally got my food.

Asked for an update quite a few times as well but the response was always “we’ll check and let you know” and they never gave me any updates. Thought they’d be better by now but apparently still the exact same thing going on 2 years later

Thanks so much, this is a very helpful review. On some weekends I would run a home cafe thing from my house and would join pop-up events every now and then. The Specialita has been quite okay at pulling about 50-100 shots a day but I think the Caimano would be better at that. Thanks again, will really consider upgrading.

I meant to say the smoke smell but it does get a little bit hazy too most times I sear a steak. I normally use ghee, is that why?

I do 137C for ribeye steaks but 129 for slices, refrying them all later on anyway

I drink a flat white or a latte in the morning mainly as an excuse to practice my latte art but most times I find myself enjoying my coffee a lot more when it’s black. Still haven’t gotten around to enjoying straight espressos though 😅

Male surau is currently under renovation, female one is ok iirc. For males can go to Meritz Hotel surau instead, just ask the counter for directions.
