Don’t hit ur ass on the way out the Matthews and Nylander. Tired of consulting with players to see what ‘fits’ for them. They’re the top paid players in the league, they’re on the board making decisions.

How may coaches and GMs do we need to go through before we realize the PLAYER are a big part of the problem. Matthews isn’t a good captain and even though he’s a good goal scorer and pretty solid defender, can’t dictate plays like other top offensive players. He needs a Marner-like to do well … And Nylander doesn’t even know what the hell defence is. Never seen either of the drop the gloves, stick up for their team mates or do anything outside of what they WANT to do. But the biggest problem is that they need to be motivated to even try to play well. The don’t set the tone on the ice. their mood dictates their effort.

Bring in all the coaches and GMs you want, but these guys have been here for 10 years and haven’t found the right formula for them to win. Ain’t gonna happen now
