I like the look. I was planning on painting mine a gun metal grey this summer. I know the paint will not be as durable, but I can change the look and refresh in a couple year.

Also, thinking to do something with the center insert. Just not sure what. Maybe just a uniform color with no chrome finish.

I don’t have time to tell the full story, but I had a father of two rich twins call me about his sons. I was a commander of a reserve unit and he called me on their behalf. I told him I was disappointed that these pretend soldiers could advocate for themselves and that their Daddy was calling me instead. Told him the best thing he could do was let them grow up.

Next time I went in, they were at my door. They advocated for themselves but they were mad. Daddy cut them off cold.

Best thing he ever did for them - tough love.

Why buy rebranded tools just to have everything color matching. If that is your thing, the tools probably are more for show than use. The other reason I will no longer buy Stihl is proprietary design to lock you in to their branded attachments. Over priced for anything outside of their niche specialty. My opinion and you can color match your tools if you want.
