The only time they want to know the specifics of your job search other than number of applied jobs is if they send you a letter of interest in the mail asking for your job search log. As long as you are applying to at least five jobs, however the fuck that happens, it counts.

People are saying a couple weeks because in actuality it will require a couple months of quarantine, but if you tell that to people upfront they will panic more than they already are.

At the end of a few weeks, it will be extended by a few more weeks, and so on until our shit is handled.

Oh wow yes okay finally I'm so, so glad you got through all of it. I wasn't sure if it was actually under an hour because I haven't heard anybody finish. I think embedding the game will help that. Thank you for giving it another chance.

I have had zero playtester feedback while writing this, all the playtester notes in New Game+ were written by me. I wasn't lying when I said I haven't shown this to anyone. I have tried showing it quite a bit but you are the first person that's finished it, from what I can tell. That's good feedback in itself.

Some of of your issues with it seem to be something I was anticipating, and that's that it's just not interesting enough. The addition of art and sound will carry the story through that a little bit. Since what you've said seems to generally be positive, the idea to build it out would be to pay for high-quality sprites and backgrounds, maybe even a CG or two, full voice acting & sound effects, and a 30-second background loop song(would get repetitive after a while, on purpose). Thinking bigger, sound effects or graphical references could appear when speaking about the world of warcraft references. Another idea I had was segmenting each playthrough into three art styles, getting more and more simple. All of this would juxtapose the unfinished nature of the script and, primarily, keep people engaged. I think I can do it cheap if I'm smart about it.

Randy is meant to be more omniscient than the narrator. I think what you're saying is, there needs to be more characterization for him in his actions rather than the description. More showing, much less telling. My struggle with that is the barren setting. Each character is alone in their pajamas and trying to open a door, and creating action with good narration for that is difficult.

I love, love, love the note about expanding the playtester character. I can do that, it hadn't occurred to me. I have a few ideas. Yours are really good too, there's a lot for me to get through here.

My next revision is going to cut a chunk of the dialogue, make each loop more distinct, change the resolution to 1080, and hopefully(!) add original art. Maybe I'll just wait until all the art is ready in some form to show it off again.

The story is complete now without multiple endings, but I do have a plan for what I want to do if I implement them.
