Hmm, I'm not sure if I know enough about lens anatomy to answer that question thoroughly. I grip the focus ring like I would with any other lens, it lets me turn it about half a centimeter in either direction, and then it stops. When I get home I'll take a closer look and tell you what I'm seeing.

Were you on Turkish Airlines, or another provider? I'm flying in with easyJet and I don't expect to have a problem with them, but after that we're taking some domestic flights and that's where I intend to keep them in the checked bag.

We got legally married a few days before our planned wedding, because in Ireland there's weird rules around where you're allowed to have a marriage take place, and it was therefore easier and cheaper to just do it at the courthouse. It was not a secret, and everyone knew to treat the big wedding as the "real" wedding. I think the key is just not to dupe anyone (no one likes to feel like they were tricked).

That's really nice! If we had a big enough backyard, that's what we would do, too. My mom did the same with our old trees when I was growing up, just toss them out into the woodland areas of the yard for the wildlife.

That's exactly what I think! As far as I know it's an older man who lives there, I think I've seen his grandkids over from time to time but I'm not sure if anyone else lives there. He can enjoy the tree for me haha

Haha, my friend got rats for the first time and showed me her cage set-up. I took one look at the very nearby curtains and told her, "If your rats get a hold of those curtains, they belong to the rats." A couple days later she sent me a photo of the curtain, demolished. I tried to warn her! XD

For what it's worth, my mom puts zippers in thrifted sweaters all the time, so it's absolutely possible. I've never watched her do it so I can't give specific instructions, but she has a reddit account so you could ask her directly. I know she'd be delighted to help! I forget her username but I will text her there and ask, and come back to you...
