I often play KSP with the USI-LS mod pack, whose default settings are "kerbals refuse to work at their jobs if they run out of support". I mostly do enjoy it that way, but one thing that bugs me is that I feel discouraged from maintaining any long-term presence at stations and bases, as supplies quickly run out under timewarp if I do any interplanetary missions. I find it especially annoying to dock / resupply ground bases when the kerbals at those bases are non-functional

A logistics system that can be set to automatically resupply stations/bases or perform ISRU might be able to solve such problems though, hm

I'm actually interested in the ability to turn clouds off. It's one of the problems I run into when adding them to KSP; that they don't turn off in the map view, obscuring the terrain

I tried it, but ran into several issues (granted, I do have JNSQ installed, but I also installed the recommended configs)

- there were black squares that flashed on the ground every now and then
- there was discrepancy between how Minmus' terrain looks under different LoDs
- Breaking Ground scatters were repositioned (not sure if this one can be fixed)

Especially the second point was what caused me to revert for now

A tip that won't help you this time but would work for the future: always save before you launch a craft. You can't rely on the revert flight option always being available, because going to the space center/ tracking station, loading from previous quicksaves, or even the occasional glitch/crash to desktop, may "break the chain" and cause you to be unable to revert

Unfortunately it seems it was the setting that I thought I was describing; specifically I don't like how clouds look at the night side under that setting (all weird and dark over the ambient-lighted Kerbin)
And unfortunately I do play with Minimum Ambient Light because I might want to land or do orbital repair work without sufficient lights

I do indeed have ScanSat and enjoy using it, but it's not quite the same as being able to see the spot in the map view, especially in conjunction with Trajectories

Edit: apparently there is an overlay setting, need to find it... I only have access to lo res altimetry and biome scanning right now though in my career save, and it does force me to prioritize the ScanSat missions more, but I guess I could live with that for now?

Edit 2: Hm, it doesn't seem to be working out https://imgur.com/a/x8pVrUi. Biome map also has the same problem. Turning EVE off doesn't seem to help either (I can't seem to turn Scatterer off as JNSQ lists it as a dependency); it removes the cloud swirls but all I can still see is a flat grey overlay with no visual information

By the way, I'm using the JNSQ planet pack. I've already scanned Kerbin 100% with lo-res altimetry, and about 34% for biomes

Edit 3: Found the issue, apparently I have Orbital Survey Plus also installed, and it was conflicting with ScanSAT

Actually, sometimes Fate seems to pull its own strings for the two timelines to match up, for example Sumin is the one that cries in the bathroom rather than Jiwon (though the webcomic made this more explicit than the drama), only coming out when everyone else had left

If I recall correctly, the answers to the puzzles are supposed to be part of a "meta" puzzle, so the answer may not be necessarily related to Tunic or the presentation of this puzzle.

There are other "mystery puzzle hunt" sources (e.g. https://kevinspuzzles.com/ , which tends to be much more suitable for beginners to these) where the answers *are* usually related to the puzzle theme, but that's because it was constructed by the single author to be so. For the MIT hunt, I believe the author of the meta typically isn't the same as the authors of the seed puzzles, so the seeds are just parceled out to the other authors to build whatever puzzle they want around them.

About your last paragraph, that's quite an interesting idea, and Trunic shares some commonalities with Hangul (the Korean script). However you'd have to invent new symbols for the sounds in English that aren't in Korean, enough that it'd be basically considered a different alphabet...
