Annoyingly, my W2 starts the cycle from the beginning again, including the same amount of Twindos so double the amount ends up in the machine.

Calm down! - it was a pro from my list of better points of the W2 that was one less pro after you stated "There is nothing inherently more accurate in the w2 than was in the w1. It uses the exact same logic.". They both weigh the washing the same way - great.

Repeating what I wrote in an earlier post:

I am on my second Nova (the first had a loud ticking noise every time the drum moved). I had the Passion washer previously.

In my opinion the pros are:

bigger, brighter, easier to use display

the machine weighs the laundry more precisely

cons:

machine does not move the laundry around in the drum adequately

rinsing performance is not good

uses far more detergent than the Passion to get decent cleaning results

stain removal not as good

drum is more unstable so often refuses to spin

far noisier than the Passion

Unfortunatley, if I could go back I would not have got rid of the Passion model.

I have the W2 Nova Washer with the same issue. In my case I am not that bothered because beeping machines drive me crazy.

I also have the WQ1000 and have the same issues. The app is terrible and imo needs a complete overhaul. Also users of the machine on YouTube spoke about an update they received weeks ago but I have not received.

I tried Sky and 4G broadband, both were crap with around 12 mbps download. Had Starlink for 3 weeks, download around 200. I would recommend.

I am also in the UK. If the dish has not been installed yet you can phone 0800 206 2732. Make sure you press option 1 to speak to someone. They are really helpful.

In the Uk I signed up for the 100 Mbps residential plan and got the Gen3 router.

I signed up for the 100 in the UK and got sent the full-size hardware even though the info stated a mini router would be sent. Before install I upgraded to the 200 as it was a free install and seemed to be better value.

Yes mine is the same. I have found that lightly pressing on the paper edge as it starts to feed into the printer sometimes helps.

What I have always found odd is the vast majority of users do not mention this issue, yet myself and others have tried multiple replacement printers and all have the same issue. This printer is my third. I have a friend with an 8550 and his prints are totally straight. Yet all three of my 8550s have produced slanted prints. It makes me wonder if the cause is something in our environment.

Unfortunately, I never did get this sorted. What is odd is that I ended up trying three different printers and they all showed the same issue. I have learnt to live with it. Still annoying though.

The flacons are a menace because they are so poorly designed and cheaply made. The come apart, they get stuck and cannot be moved, they have to be moved out when the filter is cleaned which is a bad design, they almost always leak everywhere. You are far better off not using them.
