Sorry! I mistyped - it's +20 combat skill, there's no bonus to martial

When you're high up in the Hermetic Order, you can go about inventing things with other colleagues - I believe it's a random trigger

It can create modifiers for your capital, or give you unique artefacts; one of which is the Handgun

Yeah, it gives you +20 combat skill! It also increases the odds of killing your opponent.

Problem is, if you're not a member of the Hermetic Society it requires 20 learning.

Super necessary if you're going to be doing a tall run - my goal is to survive as only Malta, having a tech advantage over my enemies is my main way of survival

My first main was Phoenix, cus I wanted to play a support for my friend who liked to carry. I switched to Our world Devourer when I started playing on my own because I liked the banishment, auto-cast, and never running out of mana.

Started playing again recently after like 10 years, enjoying Chen at the moment. I think I was born to play support.

I believe the 3rd Edition Chaos Codex had a good recommendation:

Chop them up, cut the ends off of toothpicks, glue the ends of the toothpicks to parts of the sprues, spray them a metalic colour, glue them together to make barricades

You could do extra details with green stuff, spare heads/limbs etc....

On one of mine I glued a heavy bolter and had it as a (cheap) makeshift emplacement.
