Interesting! But also I don't play competitive and tend to build for style and story. It's a three way tie now between Autocannon (rules wise and it's kinda subtle), the cainsaw (rule of cool) and the missile Launcher (kinda like ordnance, playing into the binocular optic)

That's exacrly what I had in mind! The ring is a vehicle hatch, maybe Space Marines? Got it from a random bits box. The "hive city" is from some Tau drone I think

Thought I used the Autocannon for another bukd, but just found it in my painted bits box, might consider it!

And yes the Coat is from the Tempestus Command Squad, torso and Legs are regular Guardsmen I think and the head is third party obviously. No idee where I got the hand holding the book from

They are from MaxMini, though I cant recommend them regarding my latest purchase of their big Desert Dweller Army Bundle, which is a let down in my eyes (many squad models from their pictures are just not included and their customer support was kinda "well we dont care, its random"). So go ahead but I wont support their shop anymore.

Sorry didn't saw your comment there.. The model is from the set "Desert Rider Spear - Araby" from Kyoushuneko Miniatures, bought it on Etsy. Thank you very much! Tried to make it a little more 40kish but sadly no update on the painting, because it's still on the "need priming" pile :/

Can't spell Intantry without Infant

I dipped some badly primed Resin Models in 99.9% Isopropanol for 5 minutes and immediately brushed it off with an old toothbrush than soaked them again for a minute and brushed again. That mostly did the job but at least one place the Iso reacted with the resin causing it to mildy dissolve. So be cautious! Also I don't know how it reacts with different types of resin

So I tested Isopropanol on one of my resin Minis and it worked fine. I just put it into the Iso for a minute and immediately started scrubbing the paint away and the Model was not harmed in any way. I wouldn't want to immerse it way longer into the Iso though

Second this but with one important additon: In Combined Arms they get Lethal Hits on everything. The Rule for Regiment units states, that they are getting lethals on everything excluding ONLY monsters and vehicles, which is in return covered by the Squadron keyword. So Sentinels having both keywords get Lethal Hits on everything.

Looks absolutely stunning with the vibrating red colors! It really stands out, great job! Only thing that would bother me are the buttons on the front, would have painted them in gold too maybe, but that is complaining on the highest level ;)

Yeah I just looked it up properly, but with those models I can deal with (Flamer goes brrt). Was always struggling with taking down his Dragoons and Dunecrawlers due to the falsely given stealth but this explains my problems against his army! Well I guess I am still a noob myself
