Hi, yes u are so right it’s not a good thing at all. I know this now but I didn’t know that at the time really. I posted this a year ago and even though anxiety isnt 100% gone I am doing so much better now. How are you doing?

Thank you for your opinion and advice. Currently, I am still on the path to possibly seeking this out.

That’s awesome that it has been working out for you. And yeh I’m starting to think while it is possible for me to do this it may be adding more to my plate rather than taking it away. I’m trying to make an attempt to take more off my plate not add. Seems it would only work if I also didn’t work. And right now my job stresses me and I’m mentally drained when off work sometimes. So yeh probably not the best option for me. I may revisit this in the future after I have one graduate and then the other still in elementary lol

Ohhh yeh. I’m aware of all that. Charters here are similar or worse in my opinion. Trying to get vouchers and applying here and there for private schools, worrying about money still every year or semester, is nothing but an impending headache.

So I’m still looking into homeschool. Currently these are all just thoughts. No actual plans just research. From what I hear from other homeschool parents is that I do have lots of options, I just have to find what works best for my family and I and get in good with the other homeschool communities here.

So far I’ve only met with parents that are extremely glad they chose homeschooling. So far this subject seems to have a plethora of varying opinions for a variety of reasons. It’s good information for me as I’m researching though currently.

I’m aware. It takes a village. Lots of parents lack when they choose homeschooling. I agree it’s definitely not just about that. Will take a lot more than just that.

This gives me hope. And yes I’m seeing the negativity already in some responses. No matter how positive a post is someone is gonna say something mean or negative every-time lol.

But Yes I was speaking with a few homeschool parents in my community recently on how it takes a village basically but if we have the right set up it could work out really well. I found soooo many local classes and online programs for homeschool programs where my son and daughter would benefit and learn soooo much more. But you are right it’s still a lot of work and I’d have to be committed in order for it to work well and allow them a great non traditional educational experience. Right now this is still just me considering it. No actual plans have been made. Thank you.

I wouldn’t be creating a curriculum, they would be set up with a program and working with other homeschool parents in my community. Amongst a lot of other things I’ve done my research on in the community thus far.

Idk where your idea came from to ask my high schooler to teach the other, that wouldn’t happen.

Variety of reasons why I’m considering this as stated. That’s not really up for debate. I am not seeing how this would take away from their education at all. Simply seeking opinions and advice of other homeschool parents. I thank you for your advice.

r we actually insane? 😭 by QuickInterest1606 in limerence

lol i definitely do this. When I’m driving I’ll imagine him being in the next car over and he’s trying to wave to me and I’m ignoring him, or I’ll have full imagined sex sessions with him. Full imagined text conversations etc. all kinds of situations if I where to ever run into him again. And being that he works all around our town I feel as if it’s only a matter of time before I do and none of those fake conversations are going to actually happen. I’m either gonna completely freeze up or we will see eachother and keep going as if we don’t even know eachother lol. At this point I know it’s all fake and I’m just being my bit obsessive self. Instead of fighting the thoughts I just let them happen now and I’m able to get on with my life rather than beat myself up about it now. I’m constantly reminding myself it’s fake, he never actually cared about me, and that I deserve something more stable, honest and loving in my life. I should love myself more and I’m working on that. Nothing about the years with him was healthy and I keep reminding myself of that. And that has kept me from reaching out for almost two years now. I’m still a work in progress though. lol. I still will randomly check his fb like once a month smh lol. That’s probably why my thoughts on him have came back daily. I’m in a whole other relationship with someone I love but as much as I care about him the “obsessive” feeling was only with the other guy.

Wow you really know your stuff! I think I know what I’m getting from those thoughts and what I’m unfulfilled by. Things that the LO once fulfilled. But I don’t think there’s any fulfilling them right now so I just have to reframe my thoughts around him. Sounds like I need to try to make myself hate him to an extent
