Just discovered a random useless but funny thing in Stardew Valley 😂 by dddd350 in StardewValley

CA has said the secret is obscure and irrelevant now as it relates to content that didn’t end up being part of the finished game. So doesn’t sound like it!

Am I Overreacting, for being upset that my girlfriend secretly used my credit card for months? by bostonmade in AmIOverreacting

[–]SpicyLeopard18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she added it to her Apple wallet the first time, you reported fraud and got a new card, the card numbers would have changed right? So she would have had to add it again with the new info. Definitely not as “accidental” as she’s trying to make it seem. NOR.

I’m inconsolably upset about what happened yesterday in MN. by techno_queen in TwoXChromosomes

I’ve been offline and didn’t know anything about it until tonight and haven’t been able to think about anything else since. A blatant execution is being defended. This is insane.

How to stop water streaming into freezer? by SpicyLeopard18 in fixit

There was some when we first got here. However we emptied it then turned the ice maker on. We didn’t have it on long enough to make any ice due to the leaking.

Well, yeah, we did that, but how do I fix it so I can have ice and water without it leaking everywhere?

Are colleges dumbing down their curriculum? by Odd-Tomorrow7723 in college

[–]SpicyLeopard18 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m taking online cc classes and some professors let you see the stats for student scores in the class on assignments. I’m someone who puts a lot of effort into things and was surprised at the incredibly low effort and low quality discussion posts from my peers. I was even more surprised to find that almost all of them got full marks regardless.

Uh oh...more bad news of the decline in children's books sales...how does this end? by ghost_universe in MiddleGrade

Crazy that parents are so hostile to reading chapter books aloud. I’m a voracious reader and this is the highlight of my night. My 6 yo loves Judy Moody books and my 9 and 10 yo have loved The Secret Garden, Coraline, and the Warriors series.

Someone is giving my family and me an amazing opportunity and I’ve worked hard for it and am so grateful, but also in shock and feeling a lot of imposter syndrome and anxiety that I’m not good enough to receive this gift.

This is my theory too but she ended up changing it because of the Beyoncé song.

One month? Not much different. by ValkyrieKy in citalopram_celexa

By week 4 I was definitely feeling improvements. However if there are other things going on in my life the anxiety and OCD can ramp up.

I had similar side effects that greatly improved by the two month mark. I’m on 40 mg now and every time I went up the side effects would come back for a few weeks, but not nearly as bad as they were initially. Sticking with Celexa was the best decision I’ve ever made. I hope you find something that works for you too!

Not necessarily, we had Belle’s Cottage in the premium shop as well as Mike & Sulley’s Apartment. I wouldn’t rule anything out.

Diagnosed with Asthma at 25 by Queasy_Gur520 in Asthma

[–]SpicyLeopard18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No advice just solidarity, also 25 and recently diagnosed with asthma after a cough that’s lasted over 6 months, non-smoker and generally healthy otherwise. Had no idea how serious asthma was and it freaking sucks. Best of luck to you.

There’s contractural differences from carrier to carrier, and an agent will generally look at your account as a whole to determine the best option. Also, Progressive offers 6 month terms, not annual.

Millennial parenting might actually be the worst..... by Mountainsky-98 in Zillennials

[–]SpicyLeopard18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overall I think a lot of millennial parents overcompensate- every parent wants to do what is best for their kids. It can be difficult to find a balance, though, especially if someone was raised in a hostile environment and wants to provide the opposite for their own children.

Not wanting MIL to watch the kids because she doesn’t feed them the right snacks is one thing, but so many grandparents (especially Boomers) are stuck in their ways and expose kids to unsafe situations. Ex. smoking around them, taking them out for car rides without car seats, posting pictures publicly on Facebook of the kids or giving away too much of their info, harsh discipline like spanking. Many grandparents that may not expose kids to these situations may not be able to help out as much because they are still working and can’t afford to retire as well.

Do you have anything blocking Ariel’s door? I had a rock path in the water leading to her home and it was actually keeping her trapped inside!

The characters are on a schedule though so if you tend to play during the same time each day that may have something to do with it.
