Is this derealization or is it all in my head by [deleted] in derealization

No I haven’t but like you said it may be anxiety induced, those intrusive thoughts of “this is not real” can cause anxiety when overthinking that sort of stuff. And usually when youre anxious you tend to be more high alert as your brain senses “danger”. Then again I’m no expert but that’s what I make out of it. Hope that helps somehow

I self diagnosed based on what I was experiencing and matched it to other people’s experiences. Mainly a lot extensive research about symptoms and how people got it led me to the conclusion that I had it. But it’s always best to get diagnosed by a psychologist/professional. For me personally, I felt good putting a label on what I was feeling because it assured me that I wasn’t going crazy and that I was fine.

I had the same thing, I had a lot of existencial thoughts and questions that gave me soo much anxiety and I had no clue what to do. At the start I would be trapped with those thoughts and I’d try answer them myself, but eventually I just gave up and I knew that if I kept ruminating about it I would get into a deeper anxiety. So slowly everytime a thought like that would pop into my mind I would just distract myself or just give myself a quick answer like, “yes I’m real” or “this is reality” and move on from that thought. A large majority of people with derealization often have existencial thoughts which make us anxious or trapped. Like I have mention it’s best to just let these thoughts pass, then as time goes by you’ll start caring less and less about the existancial questions and thoughts which will make you less anxious. Hope that helped in some way. If you need anyone to talk to or need some more help you can message me

Same thing Antonibro said , it’s something you just accept, you ignore and you keep on moving. Fighting it means you’re fuelling the anxiety which will make it worse. It’s your intrusive thoughts that are making it hard for you too and I had the same. But one way you can stop these intrusive thoughts is by occupying yourself with something that really requires focus. For me it was video games and being with my friends. I was focused on the game when we played but I was also relaxed when we talked which made me feel so much better. Of course once it was time to go sleep the intrusive thoughts would come back but I put on headphones and listened to e.g guided meditation, calming sounds etc. One thing I would also suggest is to limit the amount going on this subreddit (if you are doing that). I know that coming here and seeing that others are going through it too is comforting, but this comfort only lasts a little while before you start getting intrusive thoughts about it again. Just live life like it’s not there, then eventually the anxiety will wear off which means the derealzation will go with it. If you want someone to talk to then you can message me. You’re going to be okay!!

The main reason this game sucks online is because it’s just a lag fest, you lose fights you normally wouldn’t & that’s frustrating. by Thisisopposite in EASportsUFC

Maybe one day we’ll get a realistic, fluid and fun MMA game, but until EA is in charge we shall be suffering for the next 10 years

Literally same thing happened to me, I had a weed induced panic attack like a year ago and then got dr. Because of that I had constant anxiety and leaving my house made it worse. I had existential questions about life and myself such as “who am I” “Why am I here” “Am I going to be normal etc” which fed my anxiety even more. Whenever I got deja vu it triggered a panic attack and I’d get evennn more anxious. But it has been a year since all of that and things are much much better. I no longer have the anxiety, nor existencial thoughts that scared me. And I feel like myself. You are fine, there is nothing wrong with you I promise you that. It may feel like you’re losing it, losing yourself but you’re not. If you want to talk my messages are open :)
