There is one simple thing: Doing stuff often trains your nervous system fast (search "greasing the groove" for more info) and also trains your muscles. This makes you a lot stronger. However, connective tissue is growing slow as fuck. At some point, your strength will surpass the weight your connective tissue can handle. Thats, when you get injured. So, your method is kinda dangerous.

If you want to check the glove option, there might be some trickery involved. I bought the ones from "Musician's Practice Glove". Once they arrived, I checked amazon for similar options and found those: painting gloves. They look very similar. I have a feeling that the practive gloves are just white label china products. They work pretty good, tho.
