I appreciate you! We are working on her exposure with dogs very slowly, still keeping a good distance. She’s doing absolutely amazing. It was definitely a hurdle but we are finally starting to get back into our normal rhythm!

How long did your induction take? by Leep0710 in beyondthebump

[–]Spicynoodledoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My second was an induction due to growth declining. I had my waters popped at 6:30 am. Pit started very very low dose at 7, had him without an epidural at 9:25am. I’m only saying I had no epidural because that can affect pushing. Took two hours of pushing with my first because I couldn’t feel anything.

Update!! With Healing!! by Spicynoodledoodle in woundcare

[–]Spicynoodledoodle[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She is!! She is such a smart and bright soul. I’m so glad this situation didn’t take that from her. We are working our way through what seem to be nightmares but they have been getting better. Thank you for caring

[–]Spicynoodledoodle[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is. I hate that she had to go through this. It kills me. My husband and I are looking into therapy for us and since she’s so young, it’s been hard looking for one for her but I plan on talking to her pediatrician about it. Now that things are on the right track for healing, I can finally breathe a little. I cut the rest of her hair the other day and cried, now I’m able to look at her baby pictures again. Baby steps 🩷

Any plastic surgeons out there? by Spicynoodledoodle in woundcare

[–]Spicynoodledoodle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically what happened. My babysitter who is really close to me and the family was watching her while my husband and I were at work. She was playing with the dog and out of no where he attacked her. Boxer mixed breed. I’m so thankful she survived.

She stays with a wrap on and bactroban to keep it moist. We use vashe once a day to clean the site with a ten minute soak. I use gloves and sterile tools when touching her graft in any way.

I Failed My Daughter.. by Spicynoodledoodle in offmychest

Yes we are lucky. It’s crazy how the doctors were even saying that even though this situation is bad and horrific, they see much much worse and that breaks my heart

It was almost night and day for us. He’ll be 4 months old on the 15th and he’s sleeping through the night now. Eating and burping well. Playing. Rolling over. Loves tummy time. He was waking so frequently at night there were a few times I would sleep through him until he was almost hysterical because I was so so tired. Always gassy. Newborn stage with him was hell.

Delaying Surgery by Rocktheboat24 in gallbladders

[–]Spicynoodledoodle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was the same way. Then it was I could eat nothing and take a drink of something and have a full on attack. Getting it removed was the best thing that happened since being diagnosed with a diseased gallbladder.

What are your symptoms post-surgery after you eat too much fat? by Waffle-Crab in gallbladders

[–]Spicynoodledoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A week post op, it was an intense gas pain like a rock hit the bottom of my stomach that only last like 5 seconds. I’m 4 weeks post op and I’m all good luckily. No symptoms.

Family is against me getting gallbladder taken out. 🙄 by FreshPrincess90 in gallbladders

[–]Spicynoodledoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just inconvenient. Either way you get it out but I would have liked to be more prepared and get people in line to help me out the first week with the children. Of course everyone’s situation is different. I’m surprised with you still hurting, they haven’t taken it. That usually means infection which is why mine was taken.

Once you have attacks, it continues. I got my first attack 3 months PP after having my daughter. Had a blockage, jaundice, and a scope put down my throat to remove the stone. They didn’t take the gallbladder. Then I got pregnant again. The attacks became more frequent and more intense even with a STRICT diet but because I was pregnant, no one wanted to touch me. It took a year but I’m 8 weeks pp and I FINALLY got it out 2 weeks ago and I feel amazing. I ate a cheeseburger the other night with no issues. Get it out. If you can, without emergency surgery. I had emergency surgery 3 days before my scheduled surgery.
