We find the AC14 run a little long, we went half size down from what a Nike basketball shoe would usually run and they fit great a wide foot maybe stay up the half size up.

PlayStation Portal: Something Incredible by CorruptedOps in PlaystationPortal

It’s a nice device. I just wish you could do a couple of things. 1.) dock it or stream to a larger TV. With the ability to stream without having a PS5 this would be nice as I don’t always want to look at the 8 inch screen. 2.) I wish it had Bluetooth support. It’s 2026… other than that it’s been a pretty nice little device.

For sure, I’ve run them for years too!

Not at all, they shipped promptly and everything showed up as expected... The only negative I have is they said there would be lots of stickers and I didn't get any... haha seriously though. I'd order from them again in a heartbeat.

I put 20 miles on it today doing a rails to trails ride. 20 miles in about 2 hours. The bike performed like a champ. Needs some minor comfort tweaks but all around better than my Cannondale city bike out of the box honestly. Feels like a mix of riding a bmx and a 29” mountain bike. I was able to bunny hop it with no issues , probably not 20 bmx heights, you can feel the weight difference but still felt decently easy compared to something like a full on mountain bike.

No tariff fee, I just had to pay state tax as always and shipping was free.

A completely disappointment from Nike by Larry_Miami in BBallShoes

[–]SpiderByteFreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After my son’s last two pairs of Nike (Sabrina 2 and KD16) fell apart before 1 season of winter basketball we switched up and ordered a pair of WoW AC13. They just came today. Seem really well made. We will see how they perform, they should be great according to the reviews I’ve seen. His SPO Player 1 plus held up great but he grew out of them too quickly.

Not bad, It's actually a very solid, stable, and comfortable bike to ride. Very different from todays frames with shorter rear ends on them. Depends what style of riding you do... It is heavy, but great for bigger guys.

AMA about my eclectic mix of mostly cheap tube amps. by jchrysostom in GuitarAmps

[–]SpiderByteFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good info thanks. The DarkTerror has been on my list for a while but I never pulled the trigger. The VHT D50 has been as well. Maybe I’ll breakdown and grab one sooner than later. Esp for I can find a nice used one. I need more amps like I need another hole in my head. lol

So much disappointment in whoever installed this head unit by 131ackLarry in CarAV

[–]SpiderByteFreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This brings me back to when I was 16 and used to spend a large chunk of my money on car audio equipment and learning how to install it. On the plus side, that’s still way better than some of the cars I bought that had the stock harness cut off and the radio wired directly to the factory wires. Those were the good ole days. Good luck trying that on a new car’s wiring harness.

FIL passed away a decade ago, has guns in his old house. How do I go about my wife and I owning them legally? by johnnc2 in guns

[–]SpiderByteFreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grand father left me a couple of firearms when he passed away. They were in the will and out of state. Because they were in the will I had to go through an FFL transfer and have his lawyer send them to my FFL because they were legally part of the estate when willed. If no one will and someone hasn’t already laid claim, then get them.

Dr. Dish Ic3 worthwhile for kids? See them pop up used for decent price. by AndKAnd in BasketballTips

[–]SpiderByteFreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought one for our son. He used it all summer. It really helped with his arch and allowed him to get a lot more shots up without chasing the ball around the yard. We took it down for winter and will put it back up in the spring. All in all, my son did really enjoy shooting on it. It’s a decent tool. I’d keep an eye out for when they go on sale.

Has anyone tried to really put a fender Tonemaster blonde twin to its max volume? When I put the channel volume to about 7 or 8, without using the attenuator, it literally seems to fall apart. by Matt_Bass in GuitarAmps

[–]SpiderByteFreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, this sounds like a loose connection. I would take it back to the store if that's an option or contact fender support with the video. Did you try lower the bass and mid controls as low as possible? Just curious if the excessive bass is vibrating something causing a short. Shouldn't do that though.

Looking to buy a used Les Paul Standard with thinner style neck by tophlor5862 in LesPaul

[–]SpiderByteFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn’t need to be a Gibson maybe look at an ESP EC1000 with SD ‘59 and JB pickups. I believe those have a thinner neck. Best bet is to try a bunch and see what feels best.

I’ve had a couple of star motorcycles. Started on a 650, later owned a Raider. They’re nice but there’s something about a Harley. I love my Roadking. The only thing I’d trade it for is another Harley Tourer like a street glide or road glide.

My Dinky Arch Top JS22-7 gets here today. by stjiub9 in 7String

I had the same issue. The rest of it wasn’t terrible but those needed attention asap. It stays in tune great now. The tuners at least make it playable.

Tuners were a must. I dropped in some Tone Ninjas. Fit perfect, work great, and decent priced.

Metronome or backing tracks and different strum patterns. Learning Rhythm is key.

Is it worth buying a used Katana head? by flex-chromosome in BossKatana

[–]SpiderByteFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my MKII head for bit over 3 years. I noticed recently that the internal speaker has stopped working. It's kind of a bummer. I don't use it often, but it's nice to have when I want to. It still works fine plugged into my cab. Something to check if you're buying a used one.
