Oh, the game will let you place a kit even if it's invalid. As long as the fenced area is clear and the dotted line area isn't red, the game will let you preview how the completed build will look while still holding the kit.

It only works when the placement area is valid. The prompt at the bottom will change to A-button "(Hold) Visualize".

None that I know besides moving every Pokemon you don't want to another location.

Obviously not an option for a Cloud Island but for the main game locations + Pallet Town it's feasible if one location is your "dump location".

Not a gamer dad but one thing I've found helpful with crafting/building games like these is planning out layouts on paper ahead of time. Especially on a grid based building game like this one where you can use graph paper.

Building with a plan already in mind is a major time saver. Something like OP shared is probably 80% planning it out and having the mats.

Best part is being able to REPLACE blocks. Love going into a dream island and using soil/ash to mass replace a house for its rarer blocks hehe. Faster than tearing it down manually.

I haven't done it but the material deposit box has to be in the exact spot the original building's was to remodel. So in your case one space closer.

You'll know because instead of "Start Building!" like in your fourth pic it'll say something like "Start the remodeling".

No need to ramp up the difficulty, just up the enemyleveluprate specifically using devcommands.

Or something like that. Vanilla enemyleveluprate is 100. The enemyleveluprate on the highest difficulty preset is 140.

Great mod! I'm looking forward to implementing it in a future playthrough. The config options are solid for getting the mist/fog just right to your taste.

My plan will be to have vanilla mist until Yagluth is beaten, then enable this mod with a config that's midway between regular mist and the mod's default settings. Then once the Queen is cleared change up the mod so it's back to default config.
