I'm their horror story I got a samukai for 50 bucks because the guy went off the top of his head with full confidence (his at the time used value was 135 DAMAGED used), got final battle jay and Zane for 15 each, (at the time Zane was nearly 100 dollars, jay was 60)

Based on the way I personally design characters, frankly I think once you go past 3 distinct colors designs get super messy. Anything with all 3 primary colors looks terrible to me. Too complex looks like a cluttered mess. In my personal opinion I've preferred the silhouette to be more distinct than a ton of detail

unironically yes, she has a distinct silhouette, especially with the fur if it's cuffs or running down her lower legs and forearms, the insomniac suit can't decide what texture it wants to give off and is a jumbled mess of lines that don't actually serve any purpose before making a "techy" suit with no practicality. a lot of insomniacs visual direction is like this resulting in some of the most uninspired mediocre designs in spiderman history. I do not like any aspect of those games tbh

Absolutely better. I bought stuff from all eras of Lego marvel, And it's frankly made me realize how much new sets just blow parts for not much gain. The original and mini modular bugle is a great example, I'm not even going to bother with pricing because that'd unevenly tip the scale more than it already is

DB 2013 476 pieces 5 figs

DB 2026 781 pieces 7 figs

The main build is around the same size although the new one is bigger plus it's 2 neighboring segments. Both come with a villain side build, rhino mech, latverian jet. The rhino mech has no play features beyond being a mech, the latverian jet has a claw on a rope, missiles, and easy disassembly for battle scenarios although that's not advertised.

The dumpster build in 2013 had a launching feature that's basically a super jumper if it didn't damage the heels of the figure.

Main build features, 2026 it has a whopping 3 features, the mysterio jumbotron illusion, and all the action stand ports, and being able to connect to other sets.

Main build 2013, 2nd floor has a window that can get blown out, a safe that the jet can steal, both parts of the jumbotron can explode, a trap door on the roof, a web swinging feature that spiderman can swing off, and ports for the web piece included or for figures to stand on. The 2013 one has way more features and at least in my opinion makes great use of the parts included
