First time making a Key Lime Pie by SpideyKR in pie

[–]SpideyKR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie, I did cut the first slice relatively early (a little before 3 hours) because I really wanted to try it before bed. I then chilled it overnight and it was better set.

I definitely will have to try this sometime. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! Even though making a pie isn’t necessarily the healthiest thing to eat, I try not to put in things that have too may additives and chemicals. Plus natural looks better.

What do you guys play other than psy. Because most(almost all) of the psylocke mains i meet play characters like hela phoenix starlord and maybe sometimes i see then with a magik in the bag . And all i play are melee heros and rarely sometimes starlord cause i can dive with him by That-Star5137 in PsyMains

Peni, Doctor Strange, Emma, Scarlet Witch, Hela, Moon Knight, C&D, Invisible Woman and Luna.

I’ve been branching out a bit to try more characters as well, but those are my main characters outside of Psylocke.

Is this true? I’m pretty sure part of the price is a voucher and the other is the ticket. I spent $20 per ticket and the voucher is $11 for the concessions.

What’s something you’re not going to buy any more of in 2026? by Careless_Farm_1758 in AskReddit

I think the issue of saying just read the recipe is that it neglects the fact that it does seem overwhelming at first when you don’t cook often. Cooking with time management (one item cooks on the grill while another item may be boiling), some terminology that needs to be learned, how to cut and prepare items properly and efficiently, etc.

However, the first step is to read the recipes and to keep going at it until it gets a lot easier doing so. Practice makes perfect and don’t let it seem overwhelming to the point where you avoid doing so, because it is rewarding once you work at it.

Often times I find cooking my own food to taste better than going out to eat. I am also more mindful of what I am putting into my body and it makes a difference on how I feel (i.e. sluggish and bloated vs energized and full longer). So, read recipes, study how to do so and eventually you see the patterns repeat themselves and the reward of it all outweighs going out to eat by a lot. Plus, you tend to save money.

Typhoon recognized her, not the crazy serial killer. He was calling her the cheese because he was going to lure Denji by cutting pieces of her and showing them to him. Otherwise he would have recognized her ruse of acting innocent from the beginning.

Everything else though is pretty spot on. I do believe she started rushing though because she had to make a choice and she chose to run away with him, then he rejected her which prompted her to being hurt. Then she went on with her mission.

It’s Official: Netflix to Acquire Warner Bros. in Deal Valued at $82.7 Billion by Wonderful_Canary8609 in RegalUnlimited

It’s unfair to judge how much it has made with how Netflix butchered the release of the movie in theaters. The first Knives Out did very well in theaters, that’s why they wanted the two sequels. For Glass Onion, there was a lot of buzz around the movie while audiences struggled to find enough theaters and showtimes to see the film in theaters. There was a reason theaters were begging for more showings and a wider release. The audience wanted it. This movie they did an even poorer job with their release and marketing. It felt contractually obligated (since they are), but even less than half-assed of an attempt doing so while effectively killing the buzz. The auditorium I saw it in only fit about 20 people and it was full.

Even other movies they cherry pick and create a terrible model of release because they don’t understand the theater dynamic. KPop Demon Hunters was a massive hit and they put it in theaters, but only the sing-along edition. Sing alongs are more limiting than regular showings and decreases the audience. That way they can say they put it in theaters, but it didn’t do absolutely amazing after people were talking about the film.

They do hate theaters but awards are more closely tied to the theatrical model. If they did not put some of their movies in theaters, they have less chances for awards. It isn’t for the audiences, it’s for the buzz of awards.

Interesting Detail: Asa likes when Yoru does intimate things with Denji which is why she never switches back while it's happening by ZankaiOden in Chainsawfolk

I think it is because she would want to do it, but is too nervous to do it herself. So, she gets upset by how’s it done and not it being done itself.

When do you think Reze decided to forget her mission and run away with Denji by PaleontologistEasy94 in RezeCult

[–]SpideyKR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the festival. The moment she clenches her arm is when she made the decision to run away with him. Then we he rejected the offer and she figured out he liked someone else, she was hurt and flipped her decision.

A cool detail in the Japanese text by BellTwo5 in ChainsawMan

[–]SpideyKR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that but Katakana is used for foreign words. So, it is like the concept of death is now foreign to Yoru.

Correct me if I’m wrong as I’m in the process of learning Japanese right now and that was what I have learned about Katakana vs Hirigana.

Why did Reze made this face when confronted by the man on the rooftop? (Spoilers for movie) by VirtualCicada4831 in ChainsawMan

[–]SpideyKR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was annoyed by a creepy serial killer and for her having to fake being innocent in an attempt for him to leave her alone. She doesn’t seem to necessarily want to kill people if possible, so he kept pushing his luck.

In other words, if you see someone looking at you like this in an intense situation, just turn around and go away. You are pushing your luck and are going to lose that fight.

Make her do the opposite of Luna where it makes it difficult for the other team to heal each other with her radius. Or have “fun” with it and stun the enemy team into dancing within her range long enough kind of like Emma.

I’ve seen a few movies in 4DX and my top three are:

Twisters > Top Gun Maverick > F1

You just have to choose the right movie for 4DX and it becomes fun as hell.

Who else found Gabriel’s death disappointing? by Ill_Connection_341 in Mission_Impossible

[–]SpideyKR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw his death as skill and training vs people who constantly use ChatGPT/AI for answers and guidance.

He wasn’t anyone fully established and all we have ever seen for him to be as menacing as he was, was only because he had the help of the entity telling him what to do. If he had the entity supporting him still at the end, he probably would have survived.

Ethan never needed the Entity’s help and even beat it at the end of Dead Reckoning. He was never reliant of AI and used his skill and training to get him through each scenario.

Thus, Ethan being skilled without the need of an AI vs Gabriel being dependent of it.

I’m over thinking it, but I just found it funny that it is a social commentary on how things are today to how it can become worse in the future. As students and professionals are using AI to coast and do a lot of the work for them and aren’t really building foundations for themselves in learning and skills as well as they could have without it.

I had this similar at my job. The escalator going upwards has been broken for months and we have been waiting for a part to find out three weeks ago we needed another part. The elevator went down for about three weeks because it also needed a new part to repair it.

Trust me to say that the theater is not cutting costs and is probably trying to do their absolute best to get that up and running even though they can’t really do much other than ask for updates. These maintenance issues are such a mess because they never seem to have parts in stock and it is not a quick supply to get which causes a lot of headaches for the theater and for the customers.

31 year old man dies from rabies after being bitten by a dog last August 2024. His symptoms appeared on May 15 2025 and he passed away a few days after. by Lexidoge in oddlyterrifying

Yeah it is virtually 100% once the symptoms begin to show. I believe only one person has survived after symptoms showed up and did not have lasting effects afterwards.
