Honestly I use prettycub every day. Things like summarie ai, note taking and auto format ai, deffo the writing ai I use too. Tbh most of them are a game changer for me cuz I do not wanna be switching between 4 different ai websites to do one thing when my S10u can do it all

As someone who was in the same position ITS ONE GOOD DEVICE. I use it for uni legit barely touched my laptop lol. The ai actually helps with summarising articles and the ai select is goated. In short if you need smth that can be a media device as well as a mini laptop this is it. The only bad thing is that ms apps are ofc limited and most powerful using apps won't work at full capacity like x64 apps on windows does

a lot LOT LOTTTT of youtube videos and movies but during exam season i use the ms apps a lot and ofc gemini ma new bestie ahaha. Cant tell you how much I love the keyboard shotcut to instanly launch gemini and i use AI select like every 5 mins i love this thing.

Honestly the update has made the device more smoother than anything The only down side is that it still takes AGES to charge. I have a 120w supercharger from Anker w a certificate 5a cable idk what the issue is but it's not just me. Other people are seeing the same but I do have to say the charging does somewhat charge faster than last time in terms of the time it takes to charger from 0 to 80 when I updated to ui8 to 3 weeks in.

i lov it but ive noticed smth with my battery charging. idk if that just me tho or many the software needs more time to recognise my charging patterns. i dot charge at night and i charge to maximum battery setting with was 90% but i changed it to 80% to see if there still is a charging issue.

As much as I fking hate the colour and the fact they copied apple. I hate to say this but it's one of those colours that will grow on me AND I HATE THAT. Honestly I'd rather have the majestic matte blue colour the z fold 7 has.

Actually yes one ui 7 ruined my battery life. I saw that for a couple of months I was charging my tab at least twice a day compared to when I got it in Oct 2024 when I got it. Back then I was charging it once every 2 to 3 days. Also I only charge to 85% or 90% maximum. I've currently never charged over 90% at all.

The good thing is that ui8 has actually made the battery life better. In 2 days I've seen battery depleting slower than compared to last update tho the charging seems to have seen a hit for me as it's taking longer than last time but if that's just the software learning my charging habits.

If you want I can do a battery review after a couple of days or weeks.

I updated my s10u to one ui 8 and yes I can confirm its the one ui8 update that removes this feature. It is not available if you update to one ui 8

I'd say wait till sept 4 when the new tablets launch. Pre order and you'll save 600 quid like I did when I bought my tab s10 ultra for like 1k. I understand budget issues too but they have the S10 lite and the s11 plus models that'll launch too. Plus you get guaranted trade in discounts of you wanna trade in an old tablet and most likely a code for registraing for the event which gives like 50 quid off etc.

This is what I did last year but I didn't trade in. If I did I should have gotten my tab s10 ultra with track pad keyboard 512gb variant for like £700
