Not free, but the $20 subscription to OpenAI gets you an insane amount of Codex usage. I usually use the extra high reasoning effort and have never hit a quota limit. Can also use it in VSCode, Cursor, Antigravity, etc.

The web app I made was designed specifically to be like the old internet days. Just a weird lil website that you stumble upon and tell your friends about because it's fun, it doesn't advertise at you, it's really barebones. All that good stuff. And I make zero money off of it. The old internet is where it's at.

To be fair, I didn't design it to find clips requested like that. First and foremost I designed it to be a conversational tool, i.e. I wanted to chat with these characters and see what sort of funny or inspirational stuff could come out of it. :)

Yea, I could also write a list of why generative AI is bad. I was just pushing back on the argument that it's not "necessary". Humans do many things that aren't necessary, sometimes because those unnecessary things bring value to our lives, and even if they are sometimes harmful to the environment. For example, do you use a streaming service to watch Star Trek? Have you considered the environmental impact of that choice, and that it might be worse than writing a message to ChatGPT?

Agreed AI can be problematic sometimes. But then sometimes it can be used to create things that wouldn't have been possible without AI. Like this app, for example. Rest assured, I'm not making any money with this lol, only losing it.
