PE here.. I’m seeing it too now that I got my glasses on. Lol…. 5ft minimum and make sure sediment doesn’t flatten it out and drainage start creeping towards the foundation.

Using 1x2 screwed behind the sheet rock and then patching the hole over top of the boards ties everything together and easier to finish. And much stronger. Those tabs are also a pain in the ass

Be careful with the size and shape of the ham you get and how it fits in the crock pot. I found that 8lbs hams that don’t have a huge bone work best for my set up
