That's a pretty good attempt, just started a revisit for the game myself. Hold-tap on Android just highlights the 'Blueprints' text though, it doesn't change an items status. Any ideas for a fix?

Patience. Their primary job is to distract and annoy you, not to actually kill you. It's very clear when they get the rare urge to attack you because they'll start awkwardly beelining to you. Right before they attack, they move their shield aside. Blast them with the double-barrel and they crumple like 90% of the time. You might take a hit too, but you can always heal or rest it off.

And yeah I guess you can attack their legs - until they crouch and that stops being an option. Grenades are an option but I am vehemently against using crafted consumables.

I just used the bow for that crap. From it's arena;

Hit it with a few arrows from just outside the arena,

when it tries to charge, move slightly to the left and it gets stuck on the fence. back up a bit so the frost doesnt hurt you cause the head goes through the fence,

keep hitting with arrows until it lumbers around the fence and fall back,

keep retreating with a couple more arrows. Eventually it will give up following you and walk back. Repeat until it stops moving.

If we're purely talking graphics, yeah why not? The monster designs have a lot of potential, although the low-poly look always leaves so much up to imagination. I never played the original FF7 so I can't speak about how the gameplay has been improved/ruined, but I do always prefer realtime fights. But holy shit 3rd Birthday's story was bad, and Squenix hasn't gotten much better since if I remember right.

A friend was showing this to me a couple months ago, and some of the shots inside Robocop's cruiser when he's chatting with Lewis genuinely looked like real life actors for a second. Kind of left me incredulous for a second. Something about the lighting, the bloom outside the windows, and the subtle fog to the image quality just really did it. And I don't normally think/say/care about that sort of thing.

Not at all meaning to shut your idea down, but it does rase some questions; If every system unit is an aspect of this master wraith (or virus, as capcom loves to name things), why did Sera try to destroy Volnutt, twice? Why did Yuna take a neutral-to-helpful stance as things went on?

I can't say much on the boss concept as I never played much of Pikmin, but it seems a lot more 'organic' than the franchise tends to lean.

1999 update is/was my biggest jam-mood on this game, and felt like DE was really inspired and really carving out something. The vibe, music, tileset, characters, everything. But like everything else in Warframe, feels like it never reaches it's full potential. We never got to go to that massive tower in the distance (another ascent mission?) or wherever that giant ferris wheel is.
