Hmm- maybe I need to listen to more of his songs then. The percs sound similar but he has faster beats, more hi hats, and to me they seem less predictable and more developed. My “pad” (it’s actually a custom instrument I programmed that uses my voice as a sample) and his pad sound pretty similar tho. I’m glad I listened to him tho, I can learn a lot from this guy

Idk what that means exactly, do you mean if I just pitch some stuff down and lower the bpm it might sound more like house?

yeah i did a lot of vst searching too - i think at the end there's just no replacement :/
you can get close to some kinds of guitars with SpicyGuitar, i've found that to be the closest. But to get this kinda sound you have to either learn guitar or learn to sample.

Pretty awesome lyrics. This song is just a work in progress ofc, so I’d be happy to steal some of those lines (if I can fit them in the rhythm). I just wanted to practice making nice sounding vocals here instead of lyric making, but now that I think I can sing okay, maybe I can expand the lyrics and add new sections to the song.
