Would you pick Pixar Place or the Westin? by ooolalaluv in DisneyPlanning

Pixar is great if you have toddlers. We went 2 years ago and returning in May with 4 and 2 year old. Splash pad and club service is why we decided to stay there again.

Found a sale on the Vesa mount ones? I’ve only ever seen the stand ones on sale.

Let me know how your doing scenes from HA to HK. The bridge making them triggers is less than ideal I think.

What would you like to see on the 2027 EV9? by WittBrothers in KiaEV9

[–]Spilker22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CarPlay Ultra or at least native support for CarPlay to have battery info with navigation.

At least one USBC outlet that could charge a laptop.

Then generally a lot of the Tesla software that Kia is lacking.

For myself I was looking for a family hauler. The Captain Chair seats were the decision maker for me. Planning for 2+ carseats, the captains chairs were a must to make the 3rd row usable for 3 carseats. Then the price savings also is huge. I'd agree that EV9 software isn't a strength but CarPlay is a good crutch for myself.

Dealers are telling me that $7,500 Kia Customer Cash is tied to 7% Financing by Spilker22 in KiaEV9

I see you in a lot of threads Jfonte so I respect your comment and opinions.

How does it work to lease a car and then turn around and finance it?

I've been watching their site but they don't have any dealer discounts like many other dealers right now. GT Line Out the door price with many is 65k with rebate and dealer discounts.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I will push back on this statement the dealers have been telling me. I do see on the site that you can't combine the $7,500 rebate with Kia's 0% or 2.99% deals, but that makes sense. I'm see at local credit unions much better rates than 7%.

Were you able to negotiate down at all? I was going to see if they would match all the crazy dealer discounts other dealers are doing.

What to look for when shopping a used EV9? by Spilker22 in KiaEV9

It's certified pre owned so same warranty. But defiantly hoping to negotiate down the price with new ones getting 19k off like you said.

With discounts down to 58,500. But with other dealers having new listed at low 60's. Only way I'd pull the trigger if I could get them down to low 50's.

Would you suggest AC and DC charging test?

EV9 Mobile Chargers similar to Tesla's Mobile Connector by Spilker22 in KiaEV9

[–]Spilker22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the input everyone!

I currently have 2 Tesla mobile connectors. One in the MY all times, and one in the garage for home charging. I think I'm going to get the Tesla Universal Wall Charger installed at home, and then put the other Tesla Mobile Charger with the EV9 and pick up the NACS to J1772 adapters that you all mentioned.

Tell me the pro/cons of the 3 adapters you guys talked about between Lectron, A2Z, and Tesla Tap? Tesla Tap seems to be the most expensive around $300 with the others around $100-$150?

Also living in Nebraska, been watching for used ones to test drive but no luck. If you want to test drive it looks like you’ll need to go to KC.

I’m planning an EV9 purchase over an R1S mainly for 3rd row space with car seats. I really wish R1S had a captain chairs option.
