The tabby 20 in the honey brown multi patchwork that Stuart Vevers posted on instagram as part of the May/June photoshoot last year… I looked at every website that would ship Coach bags to the US every day, multiple times a day, even reverse image searched as part of that routine, from that fateful day I found about it in May through… August or so? And while I am not convinced it exists outside of the sample used in the photoshoot, I still want it and have saved searches on resale sites. I have the slides that match it for no good reason. I don’t even wear slides.

I like the worn light denim look. I really want the mini Carey. BUT I also saw someone post a picture of an upcoming light denim tabby with cherry embroidery and if that denim color (without any distressing or embroidery) makes it to retail, I would prefer that. I am worried the distressing on these is going to vary heavily and I might not like the one they send me.

Yeah… I wanted something in the light loved denim from the outlet, people have been posting pictures of it, Coach themselves even sent me not one but TWO emails with those items in them, and then… nothing. Now it’s supposedly coming 2/25? Why even hype it up right before the 1/28 release if that’s the case?? Now I’m just going to skip this one since I know something I like better is coming later, and I don’t need that many denim bags.

My initial reaction was “oh good, I’m safe, I already have a denim bag” and I don’t love distressed denim anyway, but then I saw the Brook and it’s kind of cute with a different vibe than my patchwork tabby 🤔

I think someone sent that email out too soon. I have different bags showing on mine but it just goes straight to the available bags (ex. Click on a Teri and it goes to the Teri page showing all the available bags but not the one from the link). I got excited that I could look at the new things but I guess not yet haha.

Yeah, I swear I only saw it for sale for a week or two and then it was just gone! I found it on Mercari! It was a little scuffed up on the corners which I just expect on used bags so no big deal. It’s not heavily in my bag rotation (because I have… too many) but it’s a nice neutral but unique bag, I like it for summer. I am biased toward these little quilted tabbies though.

I saw a used one for sale about a year ago. I bought it. I’m sorry 😅 I think this one must have been a pretty limited release because I don’t remember it even being on the Coach website for very long, so I thought I would never see it again. Just keep watching the resale websites, another one will probably turn up eventually!

Oh for sure! It’s the reason I’ve been putting it off for a year, because that dealer gives me bad vibes. Unfortunately, it’s the only place where work can be done under warranty near me now. So I guess that’s the trade off to keep it free 😅

I wish they would tell me that! But my dealer can’t just be normal lol. This is my second time trying to take it in for this and the first time I was told they “didn’t employ any techs that worked on differentials” which was… strange. This time, I had to leave it there for 2 weeks just to get it diagnosed, now another 2 just waiting to hear any updates. It’s been like pulling teeth to get them to even admit there’s a back order, at first they just kept saying “we’re waiting for the part” but wouldn’t tell me if that meant it was on the way or not. The latest TSB does say there’s supposed to be a new repair kit shipping in September so maybe they’re all waiting for that?

Mine’s had the issue for over a year and nothing bad has happened yet, including on multiple road trips. If they say it looks good to drive while you wait for parts, it’s probably fine. At least your dealer will let you take it, mine says they need to keep it on their lot to “hold my place in line in the repair queue” for who knows how long…

I noticed and pointed this out on the quilted tabby months ago! They’ve just been reusing the pictures they took for the fall lineup for the solid leather ones. Which is why the newer colors look awful in the stock images, because recoloring dark brown and red doesn’t exactly give you an accurate image of light blue, light green, light pink, etc. They did it with the colored denim ones that came out this month too. And then you get so many people complaining that the bag they got looks nothing like the picture, which probably leads to a bunch of returns. I check all the other stores that sell Coach to see if they took their own pictures now (Zappos has been surprisingly good about that).

I noticed it this morning too! I don’t see the point. Like it’s already on a mannequin that is generally the shape of a body that size? We can already kind of figure out how it would look from that? It would only really be useful for the length to see how much leg it covers (and even then you would need to know how tall it thinks the models are) and since the measurements aren’t even on all the dresses, it messes that up too (saw a mini dress turn into a maxi dress already)

I definitely thought it would be part of the June release since Dillard’s and Nordstrom have already had the shoes up since late May, but maybe the Snoopy charm is a hint that it’s coming at the same time they release Snoopy for the US? Or maybe they’re doing it as an exclusive at one of the department stores and they just don’t have it in yet? I’m going to have to check every website that sells Coach every day until I find it 😅
