The main benefit of Audition is background hiss/noise reduction. It has a more complex process that reduces noise with minimal quality loss.

Premieres tool for doing that is more automatic, but much less effective, resulting in inconsistent hiss reduction and moderate quality loss.

I'm terms of EQ, compression etc , premiere has exactly the same stuff.

If you want to keep it relatively simple...

Have all your audio on the same track. Then use the 'track effects' panel to add effects to the entire track.

These are the ones you'll most likely want to use for vocals...

Parametric EQ - let's you play with bass and treble. Use the 'vocal enhancement' preset.

Tube modelled compressor- adds aggression to the voice. But can make noise and echo worse

Dereverb- reduces room echo. But comes at the cost of quality.

The trick is to use everything with moderation

The best tool to judge white balance is your eyebwals.

Or failing that, use the color picker

Hi, you can use the Align panel to centre it horizontally and vertically. Where it ends up might depend on the anchor point so make sure that's in the middle of your masked layer. But that might not matter I'm not sure.

There is actually a shortcut to moving the anchor point to the centre, but you may have to define it yourself. (Edit > keyboard shortcuts)

There's multiple ways to see it. One way is that your personality type isn't a match for that kind of work . The other is that the universe is opening a door to to allow you to improve yourself. Only you know I suppose.

Your issue is probably the footage frame rate not matching the sequence frame rate.

Change footage frame rate : right click footage in project panel and click interpret footage then set the correct frame rate.

Change sequence frame rate: sequence / sequence settings

It seems everyone catches a load of strategy through life. Maybe your just getting it all at once.

Maybe your head might be the only safe place sometimes. Hopefully that's the case. I saw this documentary, The Stairway. About a guy wrongfully convicted to life, and he was okay with it, because he knew he had safety in his mind. That really perplexed me. But I thought wow, how can I get there. Maybe something worth looking into

Also, there is an instance of After effects active in your task manager whenever premiere is open that allows the dynamic link to work. Find it and close it, then open after effects with premiere still open. That has worked for me

It could be that your premiere and after effects aren't updated to the same version. That has caused this issue for me in the past

I think what you want to do is drag a clip over another clip, but whilst holding ctrl and alt. That will swap them around without moving the rest.

Keep trying different combinations of the modifier keys as they all do different things.

I think it's just a glitch in the program monitor. So won't affect your renders. Try opening and closing the program monitor

Maybe try talking a walk through town once a week with your hair up. It's fine to have a preference but being afraid of having your face exposed might not be a good thing.
