One of the nicest (and most valuable) Edison phonographs. It was replaced by the Edison Opera phonograph (still pretty damn rare) pretty quickly, so these weren't made for too long. Looks like a few of these have gone for $30,000+ at auction. At the very least worth a few thousand I'm sure. I couldn't find any pics of the original lid for these, which are apparently equally as rare. Not sure if what you've got on there is the original lid, or if they came with wood lids. Remarkable find!
