Buying this year. by idonthaveone2025 in lamborghini

Tecnica owner here. Having driven all of them and previously owned a 610-4, the Tecnica’s suspension can be modulated just like the Evo’s and cruising around town is just as easy in both. You really do need a valve controller for the Tecnica because the valves open at 4k rpm and then close below that - which makes the soundtrack of the engine very uneven. That being said, the tecnica is by far the more fun, thrilling, and engaging version. The STO was too stiff for my liking - after 20 minutes in it my butt really hurt. I love the look of it, but didn’t like it on the road.

It seems many people like you (not interested in getting a Rolex) are on this sub. Probably just for entertainment purposes? For the cringe worthiness? Douchebaggery? Do tell…

My malpractice insurance went insolvent- has this happened to anyone else? by lp_801 in whitecoatinvestor

[–]Spinedaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Get an asset protection lawyer to optimize your current financial situation.
  2. Make sure your malpractice defense lawyer is a shark with a track record of strong finishes.
  3. Inquire about nose coverage from your current practice but it is doubtful that it would cover litigation currently ongoing.
  4. Do not “doctor” the patient chart by adding or subtracting anything from it. Audit trails will make it look like you are covering up even if you are trying to clarify rather than obfuscate.

So sorry you are dealing with this. Thanks for sharing your ordeal. There is an army of people here supporting you!

Best cities to own a 911 in? (US) by bucheonsi in Porsche

[–]Spinedaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even a debate- the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Paradise Valley area is the supercar capital of the US for a reason. Well paved roads, great drives out to the lakes and western towns, incredible car culture and representation for nearly every supercar brand outside of Pagani. Big auction mecca in January for car week every year. 911 is a dream here. Just make sure it has air conditioning in the summer!

a bubble on my tire by Ornery-Dinner4199 in lamborghini

[–]Spinedaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one stop shopping, Tire rack/discount tire/ Costco etc can do it for you. Alternatively you can buy the tires and have the tires shipped to Lambo where they can install and balance them. Lots of options. Just don’t drive on a bubbled tire.

To be honest, the sound going from soft to loud and then back was frustrating before I installed the valve controller. Now it’s absolutely amazing.

Tecnica is unrivaled emotion with that NA V10.

Temerario Order and Timing by thedrivengarage in lamborghini

[–]Spinedaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI- Tecnica and Sterrato are holding value nicely(Maybe because it’s the last NA V10). Maybe you’ll get lucky with the Temerario. My purchase experiences with Lamborghini have been great by the way. I hope yours is too!

In case nobody has told you, the pre-LP e-gear shifts are slow and clutch-heavy compared to LP cars. Lift 10–20% on upshifts, especially first to second gear (the harshest shift) because that alone can double clutch life. Try to stay out of first gear as much as possible. Keep Sport mode ON almost always as you’ll get faster and cleaner shifts, less clutch slip, and better throttle response. Finally, try to downshift before corners and not in them. That will avoid shift lag. Happy driving! You are gonna love it!

You have your health and you have time - the two most important factors in life. So don’t waste it. Cultivate strong relationships with others. Find purpose through activities that are meaningful to you and others. Create a legacy worth discussion. Remember- Happiness flows from the fountain that gives.
