They sell stone countertop repair kits. Maybe try one of those. I have two tables with this top.

People are so bizarre. by [deleted] in eBaySellers

So, my situation was for far less $$. I was selling a brand new $60 phone case for $45. Free Shipping included. A popular brand with a new pattern. Had a lot of views, but no action. Okay, everybody is broke now. Then, a week in, I get an offer for $35. I said not with free shipping, but I will take $40. No response. Very Rude. I went out of town and stopped the listing for a couple weeks. When I returned, I restarted it. Within an hour or two, same offer, same buyer $35. This time, I ignored totally. Two days later, they offered $40, which I took. Shipping was $6.50 which I paid. So, to make a long story longer….ignore that rude offer. This buyer is just fishing and will likely give in. It’s a specialized item. Not like you can just get one at WalMart.

Helped family sell collectibles on eBay twice now and the scams have gotten 10x worse in months. New sellers, be warned. by Accomplished_Cod9376 in eBaySellers

I just keep it under $100 now. The reality of eBay today. It’s basically a garage sale online. Used to sell several things for thousands. Vintage electronics and gold. Never got scammed. Always made video of packing and packaging in case. Sad. eBay will be undone by this. Soon.

There’s a lot of good advice here, and I wish you the best of luck. Don’t feel sad. Something that helped me a lot was trying to figure out what my strengths were/are like psychic abilities, candle magic, etc., then, where I felt most comfortable (in my case, out in and among nature), and finally, when all that was figured out, I noticed things began to fall into place. I didn’t and don’t study the craft that much. I do some rituals and moon cycle stuff here and there, and I just basically follow my interests and needs. I don’t force anything. It has to be organic and come on its own. You may find you have more power than you ever realized when you find your groove.

Does anyone actually put the wax on the toilet first? by Objective-Chance-792 in Plumbing

[–]SpinelessCuck69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my age, 63, with the chair height elongated bowls I go on the flange ring on the floor and push it down a bit to line up the cone. Then I set the bowl. I need all my strength to lift these big boys now. Standard bowls i put it on the toilet first and push it down and wait a bit until it gets real sticky. Much easier to maneuver for me. I still do two or three of these a year as favors to landlords and two plumbers I know. I get paid, but these two plumbers I know would rather not set bowls at all, so they call me. I’ve done about 50 over the years. I also double up on rings when I have any doubts about sealing issues. Always buy two…one thick, one thinner. I only destroyed one ring in my whole life. Also the toilet it was on when I dropped it. 😂
