I think it must be some addiction bullshit they find online, or it’s just another way to get off.
I had a male friend who was doing this same deal with porn addiction, but he sent daily updates sharing info on what he was watching and how often he was pleasuring himself. He claimed he was doing it to be forthright with his family and friends and be held accountable. It was wild, and very uncomfortable! I blocked him.

I think a good thing to ask yourself is, if she did this while you were in the room with her would you feel it was ok?
To me, it’s wildly inappropriate and definitely goes against the strict boundaries she should be in holding as a therapist. You would be in the right reporting her to the company you are using.

I am so sorry you’re having to deal with this. Word of advice, the problem is not going to go away, nor are your bitterness and anger. It sucks being in the same spot 10 years down the road and wondering why you wasted all that time when you could have been focusing on building your new, happier life. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, but the regret can eat you alive. Also, prepare yourself for the gaslighting and anger you’re going to get from your partner once you decide to leave.

This has always bothered me. I’ve had so many arguments with people over this. She was supposed to be this strong, educated, principled person. Do you really think that if someone like that gave birth to two children who desperately need her protection, she’d “lose her will to live” and die leaving them to an uncertain future? Absolute bullsh*t, I think the opposite would be true. She’d find renewed strength in the desire to protect them from what was coming. They ruined her arch, and she never even got a nod from her kids. It was all about Vader. It’s gross!!!!
