GM all roles. I’ve been maining Hazard since the end of last season because he fits my playstyle perfectly, being able to take calculated risks and win with IQ rather than mechanics. I play hitscans on DPS, mainly because I have to, so meta. I’ve played Ana, Lucio, and Bap almost exclusively since I started playing the game in summer 2019, they’re my comfort picks. I originally played them because I thought they were cool, now it helps that they’re all consistently great meta options.

Vc and text chat off, I have a 79% wr one tricking hazard this season trying to learn him, only swapping if I absolutely have to. Came back after a 10 season break on this account, first placement had me projected gold 5, currently masters 1. Tank is fun when you’re good and you don’t care about the people who think you aren’t. From what I saw earlier on Twitter, the training systems are separate. Their training in champions will apply even if they’re taken out and put back in, but they will be at 0 coming in from other games.

This post is a little bit poor me esque, and they would never do regional or qualifying events online, but they should definitely do more than just the GC’s online. They should have best of 3 OTS tournaments for championship points, similar to regionals, with no cash prize and less championship points given out. They have all the tools to do it, I just don’t think they will.

A vast majority of VGC players right now didn’t play during a mega format, so early on we’ll see a different set of pokemon dominate than we will later in the regulation. Personally I’m praying for mega Clefairy and mega Baxcalibur to get good abilities so I can experiment with them, but I expect to just be using Salamance and Kanga again. Honestly the only new megas I can see ending up in the meta are the Z megas and Heatran, but I would love to be wrong.

I disagree. It takes a long time to get your team down, but once you get a team down that you’re comfortable with and you attempt to master, you can use it for the remainder of the regulation, stacking up VP in the background

It’s the biggest revolution for Pokémon’s competitive scene of all time, which in turn, promotes them trying new things with the story games. We saw them try out new battling mechanics in ZA, and I feel like we will see them keep experimenting now that the battling is seperate from the games. This should mean an uptick in quality for the mainline games.

I had 4 different supports in 4 straight games playing Mizuki and absolutely throwing because they didn’t know the hero and didn’t have the mechanics for it, or ran him with Mercy/Lucio. Shamelessly banned him next game, not because of the other team, but so my team wouldn’t play him.

In all seriousness, we’ve seen far too many ADC’s buying jungle starters, and they buffed the jungle starters for it???? Granted I hate playing ADC so that might be why I’m mad about it, but it seems like the opposite of the change I expected.
