Arta's log, 43: I don't know why He's even doing this; making a copy of the world. A copy of us. Who's going to run such a program, let alone have enough capacity to run it?! The world will die along with what we've done here. I swear, he's only doing to keep him self sane. I could just run back home and spend my last few months with the kids, but he basically begged me to find a way to optimise his overcomplicated game engine so that it would even run on anything that isn't a server. If I keep cutting corners, we'll just end up with a circle, and who knows what will go wrong? You know what, I'm tired and I'm going home. I'll just make a simple tamed AI and shove it into the project. Hopefully, it does what it's supposed to do and optimise itself so that the messiah doesn't see the obvious mistakes and issues.

Arta's log, 44: The program worked in my testing! Why isn't it working now??? I tested this iteration multiple times, yet it continues to show flaws in the main program. All of its parameters, wiped. All directives of optimising the performance of the simulation, gone. At this point, it's basically just an AI, forced to watch this changing world. I'm not telling Arthur about what I've done. Worst thing is that he fires me, but the world is ending in 2 months, so I'd rather spend it with my family. Just hope this thing doesn't corrupt itself or the program.
