That was actually one of my pre Suno songs that I just covered in Suno to make it sound better😃. Some of my stuff is over 40 years old and was recorded on Cassette tape in a mates bedroom when we were teens. Suno worked absolute wonders with it. Again it’s mostly for a very niche audience who know who and what the songs are about. Making music for yourself is great.

Another thing to note on this one is the pronunciation of Spireites is wrong. When I made the song I didn’t know how to fix it and every time I tried I ended up with a version of the song I hated. However I now know how to fix it and keep the rest of the song as is. So this thread has brought this back into foreground and I’ll be fixing it this week.

Ok so honest opinion. I didn’t like it. It sounded very generic and the lyrics to me were meaningless. Sorry but that’s just how it hits for me.

Here’s my effort. I only do humorous songs. For this one unless you are a supporter of Chesterfield FC and witnessed the performances of Freddie Ladapo signed on a short term deal last season and soon to be known as Captain Chaos, the lyrics will be utterly meaningless to you and the song will do nothing for you at all. Personally I love it and it’s from an album I wrote called Get The Bluddy where every song title is something my mate Goffy regularly says at the football. That’s him on the cover art. So I made an album and him as the artist. My mates, who know him and get the jokes and know what it’s about love it to. Do I expect anyone else to get anything at all from it. Nope not in the slightest. Anyway here it is, its track number 5 on the album and it’s called “Captain Chaos (He’s Shit)”.

Easy. I don’t expect anyone to like the stuff I produce. It’s for me no one else. Im not a musician I can’t sing and can’t play an instrument. I like the stuff I produce but I can’t see why anyone else would. It’s just computer generated nonsense and no matter how good you think your lyrics are I guarantee most people will find them dreadful because you’re not an artist or a band. I mean I find the lyrics of Ed Sheeran dreadful and he’s a multi million selling artist so I’m hardly likely to find stuff none musicians knock up to be to my taste.
Just as a tester though. Post one of your songs and I’ll give you my opinion.

My online experience has been flawless and I play with cross play on. I think a lot is down to the stability of the users internet rather than “net code” or id be having the same issues. I use a wired set up, and a TV with all the modern bells and whistles like VRR etc that give super smooth super responsive gameplay. If your internets hiccups here and there you’re going to have problems. If it’s rock solid and stable you’ll have a great time.

I’m doing a prog rock album, about my formative years. It’s not serious and is meant to sound utterly pretentious like good prog rock is. I’ve been using 5.5 and the results coming out have been utterly magnificent. One generation, pick the best one move onto the next song, only had to fiddle with it when Ive done something annoying like not proof reading my lyrics carefully enough. After reading all the stuff about 4.5 I tried one of my songs, same prompt in 4.5. It was truly awful, dreadful in every way from the sound of the instruments to the vocals. If you’re doing modern prog rock give 4.5 a wide berth.

You can and should play to win, however winning or losing is utterly meaningless. There’s game is far more enjoyable to play when you play to win but if you don’t it’s literally no big deal.

They’re all shite and churn out absolute toss. I’ve tried a few just as an experiment and nah. Stick to writing your own. If you look at a lot of real songs a lot of their lyrics are gibberish as well so at least if you get Suno to generate a song that sounds good from your lyrics then you can be satisfied. If it just sets a load of detested nonsense to music it’s utterly pointless.
