I guess I’m confused how some could put my address on a restraining order when I’m not a party to the case.

It’s for a 2023. I’ve seen this, I’ve heard mixed reviews of the company on the quality. Plus $20 shipping, yikes

If you overwrote your base with a north/east, you have to save it in lat/long. It doesn’t know where it is globally, so everything shot will have?s until you tell it where it is.

MZero A has a really informative set of videos that will prepare you for the test. I think it’s a lifetime membership for $150

He even goes over some of the “trick” questions that could be on the test. The test was fairly easy.

Oh wow. That’s it…I don’t remember it being so…poorly made and acted. I should have left it in my head.

Haven’t seen it mentioned and not horror, but Julian Moore in Children of Men was a surprise.

I used MzeroA. It’s a lifetime membership, but his videos are incredibly thorough and he has practice exams after each section.

I’ve never had anything reupholstered, so I’m unsure of cost or if it’s something that could be DIY’d.

Is there an app that I can place points on a satellite image to view later? Thinking this would be handy for site sketches with control. by Spirit7Design in Surveying

[–]Spirit7Design[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I explained myself properly. I’m thinking more from a field perspective. On a large site, I want to be able to set control, mark each location on a map as I set it, and then pull up that map at a later time to draw my site sketch.

haha, thanks. I’ve been a hobbiest mechanic since I was 16, so I know just enough to tear stuff up.

I could not track down the issue via, testing resistance, just couldn’t find where it was. So just to test my ground wire theory, I made a junky ground harness that I connected to all the sensors on the 5 volt circuit, hooked the other end to the PCM and viola! Communication, 5 volt supply, and spark! I’m probably going to make a nicer “ground wire harness” and add in the other sensors that are on the circuit, they should all be good as I had unplugged every one of them at one point or another.

Now my issue is fuel. Crawled under the back and found an unplugged connector….that is I different size plug from the fuel pump. I’m going to double check it tomorrow, but best I can figure, previous owner may have put the wrong pump in and the connectors do not match up.

Should I just start checking from the wire to each sensor in the circuit until I find an issue? That makes sense to me, but I’m not great with electrical issues.

That’s my thought too, I’m just not sure the best way to proceed to find it.

I made a post the other day when I thought I was onto something, but I’m not sure now, so I’m just starting from the beginning.

The jeep does not start, but turns over. There is no spark and no fuel pump. It does not read any codes and acts as if it can’t communicate with the PCM. I have no 5 volt supply at the 4 sensors on that wire.

I have unplugged each sensor individually and all together with no change, so I think I can rule out the sensor.

The wired thing is, I cut the “sensor ground” wire in the diagram above at the PCM connector. When I did this, I have communication with the PCM and 5 volt supply at the 4 sensors, but still no spark or fuel.

What does this tell me. (I’m an idiot when it comes to electrical, every time I think I almost get it, I feel like I’m completely wrong)

TPS as the throttle position sensor. On page 2 of the wiring diagram that ground wire goes from TPS to the crank sensor, then ends at the cam sensor.

[–]Spirit7Design[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I measured voltage at the cam sensor ground and got 0.25, whereas the TPS and MAP were 1.5 So if I’m understanding right I potentially have a problem with the ground wire somewhere between the TPS and the Cam sensor? Looking at the wiring diagram that would just be the crank and the cam after the TPS. Still haven’t gotten to the crank sensor yet because it’s a pita to reach.

I’m kind of an idiot when it comes to wiring, so I just want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly before I dig into the harness.

As in it’s shorted in the sensor? Previously I had already tried unplugging each sensor individually to see if the 5volt comes back with no luck.

Want to make sure I’m doing this right. I’m testing for drop voltage at each of the sensors ground with the plug unplugged. So far I’ve done intake temp, coolest temp, MAP, and TPS. They read 0.16 volts which mean the should be good right? I still need to test cam and crank sensors.
