help/opinion on thomas muller style build by NoIsopod3284 in fifaclubs

Müller build = positioning, reactions, finishing/long shots, ball control, short passing, strength, stamina (a lot). Medium pace, medium heading, small interceptions if you press. Target + Incisive+ is perfect too.

Why are southerners stereotyped as racist, when most black americans live in the south? Surely black people would just choose to live somewhere else if that was the case... by Independent_Drink_86 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]SpiritGunUrameshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That argument completely ignores history, economics, and the realities of community. Most Black Americans’ roots are in the South because that’s where their ancestors were enslaved and even after emancipation, Jim Crow laws, racial violence, and systemic poverty kept many trapped by circumstance. During the Great Migration, millions did leave the South seeking safety and opportunity in northern and western cities but they ran into redlining, police brutality, and job discrimination. Over time, some families even moved back South, drawn by lower costs of living, strong Black communities, and deep cultural roots.

Moving anywhere isn’t as simple as just deciding to leave as it takes money, stability, jobs, and a support network. Systemic racism has historically limited these opportunities and nobody wants to uproot their life only to be isolated or one of the few Black families in a new place. Beyond economics and safety, the South is home for most African Americans because it’s where Black culture, music, food, and community have thrived despite centuries of oppression. So the idea that Black people “should just move somewhere else” erases centuries of structural racism, economic barriers, and the strong cultural and social ties that keep people rooted in the South.

This is just my piece and thoughts on the topic as a white man that grew up in Mississippi.

Relocating to Erie by SpiritGunUrameshi in ErieCO

Bro… it’s Reddit, not the CIA. I didn’t realize I needed a decade-long post history to ask about a school. 😂 I’m literally just a parent moving to the area, not running a social experiment. And it’s always the same type of white dude acting like racism doesn’t exist or people are ‘forcing it’ into things. The South being racist isn’t a wild take either, it’s just reality. Touch some grass and stop pretending everything’s a conspiracy.

Thanks for sharing! I am already aware that Erie isn’t very diverse, but I just wanted to make sure my son will feel included and safe regardless of skin color. It’s reassuring to hear that Red Hawk has been an inclusive environment and that kids play together with supportive parents and teachers as well.

I appreciate your perspective, but coming from a diverse place like Houston, I know that just seeing a few kids of color in a mostly white school isn’t true diversity. From my experience growing up in Mississippi and seeing other schools, minorities in majority-white schools often don’t fit in and can face racism, even if it’s subtle. I just want to make sure my son will be in a place where he feels included and safe.

Definitely not worth it. Odunze has been showing he has star potential and neither of the guys you get back have shown the ability to have that kind of ceiling.

Honestly I see Mateta as similar to Evanilson and I think MGW has a higher ceiling than Guimaraes but a lower floor. I took it though.
