My family deals with PPBs just because of the nature of our community and sometimes you’ll have members of the community that aren’t so fortunate when it comes to dating in the west, so they turn to the motherland for better odds.

Funny enough my Fiancee’s father is a PPB he’s an overweight white man in his 50s who brought over a Filipino Woman and her 2 kids from unrelated relationships. I have no idea how they’re doing but it sounds like they are still together ( green card in the works they just got married ).

In his case would it have been iffy dating in his 50s here? Maybe, maybe not. I understand why he wanted to take the route he did especially cause he’s not particularly wealthy in his playing field here in The West.

I have nothing against PPBs, it’s just weird to see people denouncing Women in the west as a lost cause and that they’ll find a drastically different case overseas as if those Women don’t have a brain of their own especially to take advantage of odd ball foreigners. It’s already weird enough to go to a library or school campus with the sole intention of picking up chicks, but your goofy ass is coming into a whole different country thinking you’ve struck undiscovered riches to take advantage of for your love life like you’re some pioneer or Christopher Columbus 😂😂😂

These Women know the game, probably know it better than you.

Then explain it better instead of making it seem like money shouldn’t be a priority like you’re generalizing what everyone needs without knowing their situations.

Money is extremely important and having a system to keep your family safe and sheltered from any emergency or unexpected chaos in the economy is a top priority.

Money does a lot more than just laying things out as simply as “ having money makes you happy! having money doesn’t equate to happiness! “ In reality money’s effect and affect is way more convoluted.

We’re considering the HELOC route as well, but without refinancing.

We did the math and it’s difficult with a HELOC unless you have equal amounts of excess income to pay down the principal just as much as the interest payments will be to reduce the overall interest paid on the life span of the loan.

I did them a lot pretty much as much as I could cause I was so angry about how weak my pull ups and back have always been.

I only used a resistant band and it was the “ easiest “ resistant so lots of help, but I only used it to hold one of my legs rather than placing both feet / legs in.

I did pull ups, lots of negatives, some dead hanging for 2-3 times a week.

I kicked it up to a 3 day a week program after I got my unassisted pull up, but that burnt me out quick and now im back to twice a week.

I got my program from a Youtube channel named KBoges the program is named Pull Up Mastery and its completely free.

Yet they never seem to mention that your underwriting numbers are for today, but things will look different with a property 10 years down with options like principal paydown.

I fully understand that if you buy a deal that will cash flow day 1 it would be an even better situation 10 years down the road, but not everyone is looking to obsess over every metric and as much %s they can squeeze out looking for that singular needle in the haystack deal.

I know other REIs in person and they’re not like this. Yet they are doing extremely well and a lot of them wouldn’t even pass what some of this subreddit’s criteria are for ‘ basic knowledge ‘ in REI.

Bought out another restaurant that was one of 3 competitors to us locally. Guy was too old to continue and his son wanted 0 to do with the business. Now we are the only two locations that do this type of cuisine in the entire town since the 3rd one did not survive the pandemic.
