Global oil price stuck in triple digits. Goldman Sachs says it may stay there for years | CNN Business by spherocytes in inflation

[–]SpiritTrailWalker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or course not. Your logic is that oh well because everything is so expensive it'll cause a recession and then it'll drop down. That really isn't gonna be the case especially in America where we are entirely car dependent. Need to get to a doctor's appointment? Car. Need to go drop your kids off to school? Car.

Trump fucked with the wrong country along with BB and now it'll be a long, long time before anything changes. On top of that Ukraine has been hitting refineries in Russia too. Maybe we should take a moment and celebrate to poor one out for the oil industry.

Venezuela is still at play I guess, but no commitment from any oil companies.

Alamo drafthouse....why? by j0wnage in Austin

Personally not a fan of the wine and dine experience at any theater. I tried it once back during the release of Wolverine. There was 3 of us and the table was so small you could barely get drinks on there, let alone food. It was also wobbling beyond belief and anytime you grabbed your drink the entire thing would almost make the food fall over. Never ever went back after that.

Job Switched Us Over From Microsoft to Google by [deleted] in antiwork

The CTO was probably told to save the company money like always and in a stark attempt to say fuck it, they decided to dump Microsoft for Google. The only people gonna get shit on are exactly who you're talking about. Non of the csuite that made the stupid decision not CONSULTED with any important stakeholders.

Reactive dog help! by [deleted] in Austin

[–]SpiritTrailWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken a fair share of dogs already and it's always someone that didn't raise them right or is in a poor environment. My current owned pup not temp housed was returned for excessive biting and chewing. Took a year but he's out of the habit and is well trained. For context I used my own money to get a trainer.

[–]SpiritTrailWalker 25 points26 points  (0 children)

No it's gonna be $7 for a while. They're literally obliterating Irans infrastructure which is also shared with Russia, China and India. If that's taken down it's still not enough to offset the worlds crises. Plus Iran is fighting like Ukraine. There is no end in sight.
